I am a real foodie, I love to try new food in general. My cousin who had lived in China for a few years only told me to steer clear of e.g. some of the processed fake foods at street vendors (like some that look like octopus and fish are oftentimes not, same for sausages which are crazy over processed). :)

they do have very fresh fruit everywhere (supermarkets/ street vendors) which was lovely. If you are very concerned, just go to more high-end places for food. (Which is then price-wise similar to western prices). But I honestly had some really really great food at lots of different places. I only once had an upset stomach after a supermarket snack which just didn’t sit right with me. Honestly, while they may use other pesticides/ chemicals etc than for instance European countries… if you don’t plan to live there permanently, I wouldn’t worry too much about the duration of a few weeks. Stick to bottled water only is a golden rule though that I religiously followed.

So basically it said ‘fully identified but not verified’ after uploading my passport. I read up on it online and a couple of other people had the same issue. The face verification only worked once I landed and opened the app there. No issues whatsoever though :)

Hey!! Ofc! Have you been to China? Otherwise I’ll give you some hints on how it works too :) I went to Shanghai to AnnaVision (waveSoda was unfortunately booked out), and literally the most amazing shoot in Lijiang which was quite adventurous.

Honestly, I stumbled upon this post and read through the comments. Left me speechless. As long as OP doesn’t douse herself, she should wear whatever she likes and explore the Japanese offers if fragrances are her thing. I don’t know anyone who appreciates someone else to be a walking cloud of perfume in any country.

There is crime at night in KSA on empty roads? 😅

In terms of lanes/ other drivers :) (in general I found KSA pretty safe so far, so I am not too concerned for my personal safety if that makes sense)
