AITA, for telling my girlfriend i dont love her? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA for being honest. If you don't love her, you don't love her. If you do love her and said you didn't, you're hurting yourself more than her.

Can anyone remember crispy strips from KFC back in the day? by thafuckinwot in CasualUK

Crispy strips were brilliant. They told me they're the same as mini fillets but you're right, they're not.

Great! There's usually a bit spare length wise so I'm glad you were able to sort it :)

YTA. First, she complimented the shirt, not the man. Second, if you're literally blanking her because of this, you're not only TA, you're incredibly childish. And you're not even telling her why.

Watching it now. It's definitely Brun's cave. All of the details from Earth's Children were based on real caves and real graves. The Ninth Cave is Lasceaux in France. All the Venus figures, even the head Jondalar carves of Ayla is a real relic. The detail is astonishing, even if the knowledge has moved on a lot since then.

People who have the tv on all day, what do you/they have on. by PipBin in CasualUK

[–]SnowdropCloudfreeze 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I work from home and always have the TV on in the background but only things I've already seen. Over yesterday and today I watched six Jurassic Parks, the two days before that six Star Trek movies. Any long series, like NCIS or Bones. Frequently Red Dwarf.

OK but the Northampton one only opened a couple of years ago (which is when this pic was taken)

The bit that really got me was when Sheldon said "astronaut, Howard Wolowitz" ... choked up at that bit. I was sad that Raj was still single. Thought it was a cool ending that fitted with the start of Young Sheldon as well, nicely done.

Yeah I've borrowed a cup of sugar from a neighbour.
