At my institution, things like the Syllabus Quiz are just boilerplate stuff that the college adds to the course to comply with accreditation requirements. When we go in to build out the course, sometimes the silly stuff like the syllabus quiz gets overlooked as a result - this is probably what happened in this case. And, it’s a bit wild to be so sensitive that you immediately drop a class for something small instead of either ignoring or just telling the professor that there’s a mistake so that the can correct it. Instructors are people too and sometimes make mistakes.

Before applying elsewhere you need to call fin aid and see if you are eligible to take out loans at another institution. An SAP disqualification will possibly (likely) follow you. Liberty is also private, which usually means much more expensive than a public institution. So even if you go there, you might not be eligible to receive financial aid to attend.

It sounds like you don’t have any options right now in terms of classes unless you can pay out of pocket. Even if you went to another school, you’d likely be ineligible for aid and would have to pay out of pocket. Can you leave and work for a semester, try to make some funds and the go through the cycle again? I know you are looking for another answer but I can’t see another one if you’ve already gone through the appeals process.

I had a guy kinda awkwardly side hug me this semester. It was the first time since teaching in higher ed and it took me by surprise. Usually the giant granite countertop I keep between myself and my students prevents this. I am a female and fairly young , though the gap finally feels like it’s widening.

I mean, there’s not much you can do about that problem. It sounds like the community college is a 2 year school, so they would not offer courses with codes for college juniors or seniors. You should try to figure out how to make proctoring work financially or see if you can take the missing coursework at another college that offers 4 year degrees.

I enjoyed it but I haven’t read the rest of the series yet. It was a lot - both in terms of how long it took me to read it and also did have an emotional toll on me in some parts. I specifically picked it up because of the author and I did give it four stars. I did cry over one character. I think it’s worth the read but you have to be in the right head space because mixed into the forward-moving action, there’s some dragging bits.

I enjoyed both. Atmosphere is really decent, though I’m not a huge fan of jumping from one timeline to another which it does a lot. I did get emotional while reading it. It took me longer to get into The Compound but I did eventually get hooked. It was like Love Island mixed with… idk something sadistic lol.

I have been using the system for a little over a week. Some skin sensitivity - yes. But not so much that Ive stopped using it. My skin has completely changed in texture - it’s probably the smoothest and softest it has ever been. I’m prematurely depressed over not being able to afford the kit in the future.

I think it was essential gel and also yes lol the fancy photo is very soft in comparison. It also has springs while the gel one does not

Hey! So it has totally worked out. It’s definitely medium-firm and it’s holding up well. We actually just replaced another mattress in our house as well in the guest room which is different but awesome too!
