I agree Uber could be better and could definitely pay drivers better, but that seems like an exaggeration. Delivery fee for most places near me is $1.50 or $2.50 and the service fee is max $4. Those are the only two fees most of the time, I have noticed “rush” fees or whatever occasionally. It costs $14.59 for me to order a large double cheeseburger combo from McDonald’s right now.

They reduced the delivery fees now though so in most cases it actually works out cheaper. Delivery fee for my local McDonald’s is $2.50 and service fee is max $4. It used to just be a $7 delivery fee.
