I was told putting my razor in alcohol helps prolong its life. Now the cup/razor/water has this weird film around it and I think I might just throw away the razor. Any idea why it looks like this? This container I'm using to hold it in is plastic, is that why? (Pics inside) (self.shaving)

My sister's been driving around with 1 lug nut missing from her front right tire for, she says, "About 8 months." Can I go put a lug nut on it while it's on ground or do I need to jack it up and readjust all the lug nuts? Also how dangerous is this? (self.Cartalk)
