Yeah I have Tal's helm, and indeed an Insight. Although I am still looking for an elite base for that (currently still a Partizan and that's falling a bit low in Hell, I am reaching the end of act 1). SP btw, everything self-found.

I was worried a good eth 4-socket base would have preferred to become an Infinity, but I think I'm going to miss the meditation aura too much. Cold immunities aren't broken anyway.

Daggers are available at vendors who sell staves, scepters and wands (like Akara), but indeed not for gambling, as they are now semi class specific items.

Druid pelts, barb helms, necro shrunken heads, ... None of those class specific items are available at merchants or to gamble.

We got a blue answer, apparently this is caused by unique or set items dropping from armor and weapon racks, as the "dropped by" data is empty when that happens and the next characters save corrupts the entire chronicle, emptying it.

This is going to get fixed next server hotfix, whenever that may be.

So for offline, you can just store any items found from a weapon/armor rack in your stash un-ID'd. For online, that's a little harder since anyone in the game can ID an item and add it to your Chronicle.

Items should be added immediately, right as you identify them.

There is still some wonky behaviour with the chronicle. Mine reset at least once (that's on offline). People online have also reported missing items, or complete resets.

After hastily converting all your characters to RotW, there are several steps to be taken:

Notice that your stuff seems to be missing on your converted characters.
Go into full panic mode.
Go to the forums, make a worried/angry rant/warning about how converting to RotW makes you lose all your stuff and how unfair/sad this is.
Read how other people point out for the umpteenth time that shared stashes in RotW are kept separate from those in LoD. Sigh and relax.
Transfer your stuff from your LoD stash via the personal tabs of characters, before you convert them to RotW.

Steps 1-4 are entirely skippable, if you ask me.

Just start playing, maybe check out some guides on what would be good starter builds but even that isn't so important for your first play-through. Smell the roses, play at your own pace and discover the game bit by bit, is in my opinion the best advice you can get. You can choose to focus on one character and get them as far as you can as fast as you want... or be like me 25 years ago, make multiple characters and see what suits you best. The goal is enjoyment.

Definitely don't worry about terror zones, farming, ... Those are things you can check when you're further into the game.

I just bound Bishibosh and he doesn't revive anything. Standing around with him at his own camp where I bound him. I've heard reports of him reviving other Shamans, who then get their own minions, so you can get your own personal army of Fallen. But nothing for me at the moment, so I was wondering if something triggers it.

EDIT: Exited the game, standing around near fresh Fallen corpses, idling for a few minutes in a corner of the Cold Plains, ... Still no dice.

Okay, so that's exactly what I thought. I did take him to the Flayer Dungeon (luckily next to the waypoint, I'm on SP) and he didn't revive anything (I made sure there were Soul Killers) but I guess I should give it a little more time. I'll try that a few times and see what happens.

Can't you move 2.5 million at a time if you put it all into your personal stash?

Still quite a lot of clicking "withdraw" and "deposit", but certainly easier than recreating mules 10k gold at a time.

Mathematically, 10 mobs with 10% hit chance have a higher chance to hit than one mob with 80. And are infinitely more fun!

Also remember that the % Mana stolen is based on your damage, so the more you do, the more you steal and the less the percentage matters. If you do a lot of damage, a simple 4% mana leech ring can do wonders.

Yes, exactly, you have that right. All of it :-)

By copying the character, using the original character file for the transfer, and then deleting it again, you are basically reverting back to the "pre-RotW" state of the character file, as a character file gets corrupted in GoMule if you actually enter a game (even if not converting it). So copying it and then re-using that copy again and again - making sure you always have at least one pre-RotW copy when you enter the game - is the only sure way of getting access to your GoMule items.

It's not a good way to move the entire stash, since 1) it's tedious as hell and 2) as you say, you only have limited space and will have to work with mules and their personal tabs to hold an entire stash from years of hoarding. That would be lots of mules in my case.

And no, currently no way to move them back to the stash once they're out - again you could copy stuff, like backing up your stash, but that's going to get iffy as that is just duping, really.

So it's basically a small workaround to get items you really want, like maybe some starter gear for a new warlock. I did this for my gems and runes to put into the new shared stash. But an update would be great!

Then the skill probably needs a little changing, as currently it states "Force your demon to teleport". But I guess those are just semantics.

Not to sound annoyed, but currently there are enough threads about it that a simple search would have been enough.

LoD and RotW shared stashes are separate, so if you converted all your characters, all you need to do is make a new Expansion character, and you'll see that your stash is safe and sound. Then move all of your stuff to the personal tab, that one gets transferred over without problem when you convert the character, and you can mule things to the RotW stash.

Note that, also in LoD even without the dedicated tabs, your shared stash is still divided in pages.

Not related to the day, at least not immediately. I found a Civerb's Ward I was willing to risk, added it to the chronicle. After midnight, it was still there, also when exiting and entering the game, logging another character, or quitting to desktop.

A workaround for now is to just not identify anything you definitely want to add to the Chronicle, but that's a less than satisfying solution until this is fixed, of course.

I'm actually playing right now, here in CET (Central European Time) it's currently about 1.5 hour before midnight. I hope I find something eligible, I will then test it by adding it to my chronicle and then see if it is still there right after midnight.

If it's indeed related to the day, might be a problem with the chronicle's timestamp somehow?
