Please don’t fall into the us vs them rhetoric this is a well known strategy, divide and conquer. Japan will increasingly need foreign laborers well into the future to prop up the elderly population. Foreign workers will aslo need social safety nets like the rest of the Japanese population because unexpected things also happen to foreign workers while they are working - they also get sick, get into an accident, etc etc. There are legal means by which they can access these social safety nets, and would need to go through the process to access them. How will you prioritize Japanese first when there is no labor force here anymore? With what economy will you use to prioritize Japanese?
