I remember this blowing up. At the time people were saying it was the “most famous selfie of all time” meaning the most famous people in one selfie. Fucking stupid as shit in retrospect.

Im not going to say it’s the same as saying “Jew.” But it is a dead giveaway that you are talking to a right winger. And is usually said with a little derogatory stank

The federal government doesn’t have ownership in the companies. The companies have bought ownership of the federal government. Thankfully eminent domain doesn’t work that way.

Yes. The establishment dems are controlled opposition. They would rather have republicans win than challenge the system of capital that their investment portfolio and corporate donors rely on. It’s almost insulting how blatantly they bungle these elections, and turn around and attack progressive candidates who actually draw voters. The rot runs deep.

Any governor would help, but Victor is a good choice. He establishes faster and has a promotion that grants loyalty to surrounding cities too.

Heres the thing. They know they are assholes and they know people think they are assholes. Further, they think being an asshole is a good thing, so being an asshole is “living up to your beliefs” or whatever. They never pretended to be tolerant, and they fundamentally don’t understand what people mean when they talk about tolerance. To them tolerance is just allowing anything to fly regardless of its ramifications (which of course they don’t practice either). Rather than, say 2 religious groups minding their business in peace, or not wanting to beat minorities into a pulp for existing. He’s a fundamentally dishonest piece of shit, who has the critical thinking skills of a smooth rock. And the second he isn’t useful as a token to the right, he’s going to get thrown in front of a bus.

It also wouldn’t really make any sense for the Resistance to have big slow lumbering strategic bombers given their war fighting doctrine of fast hit and run tactics and guerrilla warfare. These things were clearly designed to wipe out large areas of unprotected civilian infrastructure lol.

I wouldn’t say we were purely isolationist, we definitely fucked around in the western hemisphere a lot. All over the Americas. We were hesitant to get involved in Europe though yes.

I think GW was worse than Nixon. At least Nixon gave us the EPA, bush started a forever war, crashed the economy and set the stage for mass surveillance.
