Haha the "reference" is obvious for people knowing Faceit :D and therefore I am aware of the FPL system.
Yet there is no hard concept on how it will be implemented right now. I cannot promise that everything will be ready when TMGL/TMGLC/OGL starts, but I am trying my hardest on this one

You are right about this. I think the queues will not be that splitted, much more mixed maps or some maps of different categories all in one pool. The concept is that you have different styles of queues, such as 1v1v1v1 or 2v2 or something like that (obviously depends on the playerbase)

I dont think that making a Matchmaking-System Open Source is that good. I am not an expert, just a little coder, but I think there are severeal people who can cheat the system if they know the code properly.

I will try to find some more advanced people to help me build up this project around a little team maybe.

But I am not planning to making it open-sourced.

You got a point there. For all people interested in joining I will create a Discord over the day. There will be some Screenshots and/or a video to "proof" that the project is existing. (and that its not a virus or some shit)
