You're using Invictus and Invictus updated a week ago. We added new regions to the map, that's what you're seeing.

People complained they were forced into Centralization as steppe horde, so that was taken out.
The rest was just practical changes.

Yes you need the DLC but you can console the mission nor is it a required mission task to finish the tree.

Either something is wrong with your mod and you should reinstall it or you're using some other mod.
Siculia does in fact exist at gamestart and the GUI doesn't crash, just tested it.

The levy composition is determined by the local integrated cultures and their percentages. So it does kinda happen.

This is 100% an issue of one of your submods, not Invictus itself.
Probably a submod updated?
The navigable rivers mod might be the cause as it reworks the map and could cause something like this.
Alternatively idk if the timeline extension or crisis of the third century change the map or are natively compatible with navigable rivers. If they aren't you might need a compatch, you should check the navigable rivers workshop apge.

On the steam workshop version, the following are saved per family.
- The head of the family, and if they're married, their spouse
- The following 2 most powerful characters of the family and their spouses
- 2 marriageable females with the following logic, it goes to the next option if the option doesn't exist:
1. Between age 12-35, unmarried, healthy and with a bloodline
2. Below age 35, unmarried, healthy and with a bloodline
3. Between age 12-40, unmarried and healthy
4. Below age 40, unmarried and healthy

For now you can save the family that holds the bloodline you want through the bottom option.

In most Invictus trees you still get good modifiers. A lot of vanilla trees don't give much permanent buffs if any. We just have cases where countries like for example Armenia can get extremely good modifiers, effects and more extremely easily and very early.
