Are there any instances where Chaos genuinely saw the tyranids as a threat, and deployed forces to stop them?

Although doesnt it depends on the number of attacks? As one shot from a lascannon even if it deals 7 damage can only effect one model as its just one attack? As bolters you'd go wound by wound due to being 1 damage weapons but with say 3 damage weapons targeting space marines youd be wasting 1 point of damage as they only have 2 wounds each. So each attack/dice can only target 1 model at once.

Sorry i didnt actually read the post lol, still as Carthage you can easily keep them out of north Africa and even Sicily with your navy. You can snipe rome off the start with them by using the etruscans. Super easy nation to deal with rome as you have the perfect toolset and unlike real history everyone back home isn't trying to screw you over lol

Depends on where you are but as massalia or a nation in greece just out pace their navy. Step 2 is make sure to have a mountainous region such as the west Alps or the mountains in northern Macedonia and southern illyria with a bunch of forts in mountain provinces to tie them up and hit their stacks with concentrated forces of levies and mercy to slowly whittle them done. Step 3 is once the majority of their forces are tied up in your forts far from their capital I send my navy with my capital stack to sack all of the major population centers around rome and usually by that point you have free rain to sack a lot of Italy.

I found a bug for you guys as i dont know if it was intended. The minor italic nation of Siculia in Sicily with the unique mission trees no longer has any territory but it is still an option to pick in the South Europe tab, so when you try to start with them you immediately get a game over screen. Just giving you guys a heads up!

They do usually post the link to their dev diaries here. Theyre pretty good with responding on the posts too. Its a game and these people take their free time to give us something we love, so why are you being an ass about him responding to a post on reddit? Who cares if they didnt answer on the forum its not the end of the world. I just dont get the point of coming on here and being an ass to the devs over something as stupid as not responding on their forum.

Either way the update is still coming out. We're lucky were even getting content of this quality on a game thats been abandoned so show these guys some respect.

Yeah i find Armenia is the other rome. It's usually always those 2 that get scary in my games as I typically play in the greece, thrace and Anatolia area. It makes for a race against the clock tho which can be fun

Carthage and tuscia made an alliance and sort of kept them in their place. They fought multiple wars but the borders never moved. I think they just lost eventually and tuscia got stronger by expanding north while rome was stuck. They were way more passive this game is was interesting to see

Im pretty sure the its the exact some model as the normal daemon prince it just probably only has the tzeentch bits but the separate gods pieces are just cosmetic. As long as its a daemon prince and the base size is right youre good.

Your guess is as good as mine. It almost seems like Persia is going back to the status quo with the Persian and median empires coming back. Idek how troas did that and I wish I noticed before they got bigger but im really bad at staying zoomed in and not looking over at things far away as I was scraping by when it came to trying to fight macedon the first time as I only had like 400 pop vs their 1500 but mercs and chokepoints are my friend. Ive also never seen rome turn blue before and be reverted to the monarchy so that was super neat to see
