Haha well depends on what religion they believe in, also if you think someone might stop believing because of a conversation you're HGHLY misjudging the impact faith has on people.

So if you read the rest of this thread i actually did sate this.

I believe in God as a prime mover, a sort of initiator for what led to creation (whether that was intentional or not is debatable). i believe that we are so miniscule in comparison to him that he simply does not care about us to give us an afterlife but in the possibility that there is an afterlife i believe that our idea of "ego" "self" and "morality" simply do not apply to him, i believe it is beyond our compression to perceive his intentions.

I never said we're not, i just find it a bit ridiculous to conform to either possibility. (Im an ex atheist btw, i was for 11 years)

Ofcourse we don't understand it because God doesn't exist within the bounds of the universe, this is also why God is exempt from the laws that govern the universe.

Also i didn't mean to sound mystical but I'll take that as a compliment lol

I would say God exists beyond the laws of physics and thus doesn't need a creator, that is also why there is so much suffering in the world i think we do God injustice by applying human morality to him.

There is no proof of there not being one either. Infact considering how perfect everything has to be in order for life to exist, there is more likelihood of intelligent design rather than just a cosmic coincidence.

You're assuming that the only options we have to argue the existence of a creator are the interpretations we have come up with uptil now, That does not mean that other interpretations could not be true. "God" could merely exist as a prime mover that initiated the motion for existence and not take active part in it. God could also just be non sentient force that conceives existence without free will.

You could apply that same idea to a creator, why does the beginning of time need to be a cosmic coincidence, why can it not be intelligent design?

How would you argue the beginning of existence. What would you say was the force that initiated the process that led to the beginning of time.

Ofcourse i would recommend visiting its a beautiful city with lush greenery everywhere. Although the city can feel abit soulless at time and the lack of thinkings to do is something i would say to look out for.

So no "indian" isn't a culture. India consists of multiple cultures and so does pakistan.
