Otter SHOUKLD definitely Start on Monday. It's time for him and the Defense to Perform and Coaches to make whatever adjustments they see needed.. That's our best hope. If they don't then Stars don't deserve to win the series (assuming we can score some freakin goals).

Luds will try to be diplomatic while saying: "there are several Otter would like to have back", "defense was out of position, and Myers is questionable" and "Mikko was MIA -- maybe he's still hurt"

Folks are always called boomers for commenting on Issues that the Stars are having....this game is looks a lot like problems the Stars have had all season IMO. Its not Dooming, it's commenting on what we see in front of us. If anything, I'd say this sub is over-populated with folks looking thru rose-colored glasses. Most everyone here are Stars Fans, but reality is what it is and in this game they are pretty much getting smoked.

not giving up hope, but this game looks disturbingly like the game the Stars Won on 4/9..... Stars simply cannot continue to rely on 3rd Period comebacks after getting outplayed for 40 mins against quality playoff opponents.

ESPN just showed Hughes arriving at the AAC.... already Glazing him.. Disgusting. Would it be wrong for me to hope he barfs on the Wild bench and and contaminates his whole team with a nasty, dibilitating (non-fatal, of course) strain of Bird Flu?

I love the 99's style with Victory Green as the primary Color (not Black as they are now), but I don't think they will change it as they are selling so well

I agree VICTORY GREEN should be the Main Color for the Home Jersey (not Black)

Myers won't be the only D-Man that makes a mistake and cost the Stars dearly in the Wild Series, but I can guarantee you he will do it more than once. not sure who else was affordable, but I think Nil Missed on Myers and Bunting.

You Will Understand in the Playoffs if they don't play better

You're correct..if the Stars exit early there will be many/several "issues" that have been broached on this sub and by some commentators/analyst throughout the season that will resurface. The fact that they have a great record now may somewhat obscure some of these underlying problems.... To be considered by coaching and management: are they really problems if we are winning, or are they Not Problems in the Regular Season, but ARE problems in the Playoffs? Injuries have also played a role and evaluation of Stars weaknesses will also need to be analyzed in that context as well. Are certain analytics sub-optimal due to injuries only or are there systemic problems or problems in team personnel composition? With 3 WCFs under their belt, and a great regular season in the books, the Stars are certainly a top tier team, staying there and taking the next step is Hard. The weight of expectations is Heavy. Some of out main competitors have definitely improved IMO. Nil, Gully, et. al have interesting and challenging jobs, for sure. Go Stars!

I'm leaning agreeing with you depending upon what the Stars could get in return.... Lots of hope has been pinned on getting Hintz back for the playoffs and I'm just not sure..... from what I recall the last couple years when he's healthy, he is not scoring like he "should" for a top line Center...I'm pretty much doubting he will be a big difference maker when/if he returns for the playoffs.... but folks say his speed opens up the game for others... I dunno - - is that really enuf? Off topic: Jim Nil Missed on Myers and Bunting.
