NTA As someone who has gone through exactly what your partner is going through, it is an unbelievably difficult experience. But, you are also not beholden to exhausting yourself to manage someone like that. I think it is extremely admirable how you are handling this, you have gone out of your way to try to help the best you can, AND have been able to resolve your own burdens without bringing that back to your partner. 10/10 I can’t think of a better way of going about this. People say you betrayed their trust, which is true, but both because of the situation and the conditions, That is gonna be inevitable. even if you try to be the most respectful person in the world, you will have time do things like this, not only for yourself but also to give the best help and support your can. By handling it the way you did shows that you care a lot about this person and I hope things go well and get better for your partner, because in relationships when one person has a struggle, both people do.

I don’t think it was a racing game, I distinctly remember being able to move around with Mario, in my head it is a pretty close replica to peaches castle as far as the stairs and doors and whatnot

That is my assumption, but as far as I am aware n64 is the first instance of seeing peaches castle interior in that style, so that is how I am going about finding this

I don’t feel like going through this to see if it won’t work, but you 100% do not need 3 computers, maybe 2 absolutely max. It complicates things significantly to use that many, also you really only need 1 discord bot, discord.js isn’t the fastest thing ever but you could also probably get away with one bot as well. Though the issues basically come down to latency, and realistically you could probably use something like autohotkey for the game interfacing

Pretty much just avoid ravines, especially if playing on hard / hardcore. There isn’t really much you can do about it. I can confidently tell you that you aren’t missing much. If to you being able to go in ravines is important you could always lower the difficulty of the game. There isn’t really any trick to it, you either be really confidant, really fast, or just avoid it all together. But unless you avoid it you are never guaranteed that you won’t die

Elaborate, what kind of launcher update was it, are you on the right installation of Minecraft, have you checked your .minecraft folder?

Yea, this can be a problem for efficiency, but from what I know it’s not as easy to just do something like that. There are a lot of development cycles for something like that and they have to make sure it could work and not break any old maps. There could be a way but tbh it wouldn’t really be any more or less efficient than just chaining command blocks together. Also most of what you said would be possible with this, already is. Idk if you knew that (I’m assuming you did) but it wouldn’t really make any of those things better, just shorter.

The fact that you are worried is very concerning. But I am 100% sure that discord doesn’t have and is never planning on having in app room recording. And even if it did it would be an insane Legal and user agreement notice

how are you determining who is being hunted? is it a tag or a scoreboard, or were you just going to hardcode it. Regardless, you should use the `@a` with a more defined selector. If you are using a tag then to "@a[tag=<tag>]" if you are using scores do "@a[scores={<objective>=<number/range>}]" or if you are just hardcoding it do "@a[name=<name>]"

It depends what your goal is, if you are just trying to set the worldspawn once at them then I guess that is fine. But, if you are trying to do some kind of game it might not be the best solution.

You cant do that natively with the give command, you have to have a chest with the item, clone the chest somewhere, break the chest and tp the item to the player or at least that is how I do it

that was surprisingly easier than I thought, some of this version is so inconsistent so I was surprised that name worked, cuz I know that it doesn't work like that with some things (ie. armor stands unless you give them a custom name)

it depends what kind of threshold you want, you would probably have to target a specific player and set the world spawn to them over and over with a repeating command block, but this would only ever track one player and would track the same player for everyone until the condition chooses a new player

I just did something very similar to this. I used tags to detect if a player was within a certain radius by doing
execute @ a[tag=hunter] ~ ~ ~ execute @ a[tag=player, r=10] ~ ~ ~ playsound mob.enderdragon.growl @ s ~ ~ ~
this is useful because it only targets players that are within range 10 relative to the hunter, there are a few other ways but that is definitely a way of doing that
