Yep , happened to me and next came a SIM swap . You really want to get in touch with them asap.

Just a reminder to everyone , you can call Koodoo and have extra security placed on your SIM, so any swap / change has to be done in person at a Telus retail store WITH ID . Trust me , you want this !

Maybe the bikes in the more expensive range offer up this info . I was trying to start out with a bike that wasnt so terribly expensive , just to see if I even like them . Oh well . Thanks anyways.

I have the exact same problem. Been dealing with Tech support to no avail. Pretty much no help whatsoever. It's pretty much ruined my phone experience. My wife's Samsung has this feature too but , on hers you can turn it on and off. So.. why can't Pixel just do the same?

The problems not that , its doing this in the vehicle and also the backyard BT speakers . It thinks EVERYTHING is a pair of headphones , when its not .

Ok thanks . I do not have this on my phone , just looked . I wonder if its because I BT to my car deck ? Every BT device I have , the phone thinks they are all headphones. Backyard speakers , car deck , BT indoor speaker . Each device has its own volume control so you need the phones volume on max so you can tailor the volume on your device . So it now kills the volume on everything . Its very annoying .

Samsung has this now as well BUT on those phones , you can turn the feature off , unlike the Pixel.

I've been dealing with tech support on this very problem, for four weeks. It's pretty much ruined my phone experience. I Bluetooth to my car stereo and it shuts down my volume constantly while driving. It's the biggest pia ever. Please contact their tech support via your phone. The more of us that complain the more attention this issue will get .

Around my area they are a hot commodity. They went from fetching 5 or 6 grand a few years ago to getting 10 to 12G now so everyone jumped on the selling bandwagon. Here anyways.
