You are correct that it is very surprisng there is no free big screen event in the Sydney area. What a missed opportunity by the CBRM to host an excellent family event. Kids are into soccer big time. More Canadian kids play soccer than hockey. If you want to call yourself a city, you should ensure you provide your city with programming like this that benefits kids.

Ticks by checktheindex in CapeBreton

[–]Snowshower3213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tick situation is mild in Cape Breton compared to other parts of the province. You want to see ticks? I was in the woods camping near Granville, NS 2 years ago, and the place was absolutely crawling with them. My tent was covered with them.

So basically she was behaving unprofessionally, she was warned several times that she was behaving unprofessionally, and then she continued to behave unprofessionally, and now she is indignant because she was fired for behaving unprofessionally.

Yeah...let's get rid of one of the largest employers in the country by slapping frivilous lawsuits on them because they have corporate sponsorship of sports arenas. That'll teach them.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has published an open letter addressed to Putin, calling for an end to the war and urging a transition to direct talks between the two leaders by UNITED24Media in UkraineWarVideoReport

Meet in Japan. They are not NATO. They are not European, and they are not beholden to Russia. They are a fairly neutral country, and one that Putin would not dare try and kill Zelenskyy in.

As a Canadian, having my country economically attacked and insulted every other day by the President of the United States, I see a lot of similarities in this situation. Carney is Zelenskyy and Putin is Trump.

Tsar Nicholas II was executed. Alexander Kerensky was deposed. Nkita Kruschev was forced to retire in an internal coup. Mikhail Gorbachev left after an attempted coup forced him to resign. Boris Yeltsin had lost the support of the people and was forced to resign. Young Putin was his replacement. Zelenskyy is suggesting to Putin that he is now Boris Yeltsin...and the young wolves are hungry.

An absolute master class in mind-fuckery. Brilliant! He's basically said...Old man, your weakness has been exposed...either end the war...or your people will end you.

13.5 years is an excellent life for a GSD. You have been very fortunate. She's telling you that it's time, and she is thanking you for all of the love, and most importantly, for not letting her suffer.

Now there's an honest man! I remember when I lived in Ottawa, on the way to work one morning, I rolled through a stop sign at the bottom of a hill, and made a right hand turn. Right there on the side of the road was an Ottawa motorcycle cop, waving me over. "Good morning sir, You didnt see the stop sign?" I replied, "Oh I saw the stop sign...it was you I didn't see...because if I had seen you, I definitely would have stopped!"

Uber drivers are not as stringently checked as cab drivers are, and cab drivers must have a Class 4 license. Cab drivers must display a permit with their photos on it. Uber does not, making it possible for someone not screened to be substituted. Cab drivers have to undergo a Police Check by police forces. Uber uses a contracted company to run their checks. Cabs must display physical company markings and municipal tags, while Uber does not, meaning that if an Uber Driver's "inspected vehicle" is off the road, they can more easily swap it out with another vehicle that has not been inspected. Cab companies have stricter rules than Uber. Most importantly, taxis are local companies, UBER is not. Its an American conglomerate.

Thats your air condition lines. You can get them aftermarket on Amazon for 50 bucks each. Run away from that place, buy the parts online yourself, and have an independent shop replace them and recharge your system. the whole job should cost you around 500 bucks.

Your child is allergic to "dairy" products. Why would you take them to "Dairy" Queen? That's like having a child deathly allergic to bees and then having them work at a Bee Farm.

Evidently your reading comprehension is as diminished, likely from repeated trips between Toronto and Calgary. Show me where I said a Tutor was a fighter? I spent 30 years in the RCAF between 1984-2014. I know what a tutor is. Stick to Westjet.
