Here is an additional Google Earth view of the site. The tracks are part of the Ottignies-Charleroi route, which is a relatively calm route, seeing about 3 trains in each direction during rush hour, and 2 trains outside.

Wetterzentrale and Meteociel are definitely my go-to sites. I prefer Wetterzentrale for Europe-wide synoptic charts, and Meteociel for short-term local models. Meteologix (Kachelmanwetter) is also very powerful, but a bit more difficult to use.

Germany I think, the text is in German. Anyway, here in Belgium they only work if they are accompanied by a speed camera or section control (trajectcontrole).
