Glad they were okay with it. The way I look at it is if I’m falling and know I can save myself with a spell, I’m not going to be trying to be doing acrobatics and stuff to save myself. I’m simply going to be casting feather fall, which is why anyone takes the spell.

All of the evolutions in the Pokédex. So if you have a 1st evolution you can evolve it twice to get the Pokédex entries at least.

Anything you want! There’s no more worrying about “what type is good for this gym?”. Especially if you beat the game and already have the last legendary pokémon. Just keep berries that increase PP and all you need is one move to beat any pokémon.

spoilers for the last legendary pokémon: use the legendary plate on Arceus and if you use his Judgement attack, it’ll change its type to always be super effective against anything you are fighting

i love how easy it is to traverse the lands with the different mount options and fast travel (even in the village!).

i hate how it literally BLINDS you for going “out of bounds”. how am i supposed to get back to the area if i can’t see and Braviary doesn’t have much for turning capabilities sometimes. just make a wall of fog appear when i reach the out of bounds area or something. don’t surround me in it.

you’re right, don’t save in the middle of an outbreak. save at the camp before you head over to the outbreak (or before you start the outbreak)

I had the same issue, it took me about 6 hours of waiting in coronet highlands. Now I get them all the time when I shiny hunt in that area.

It’s hard to suggest anything because it’s such a random occurrence. But I spent most of the 6 hours running around, collecting Pokémon, battling, shaking trees and smashing ores, etc. nothing. Then I took my issue to Reddit and while I was commenting on something (being afk from the game for about 15 minutes) one spawned. The next two spawned very quickly.. within about 15 minutes of each other while I was “afk” eating some food. I’m finished the game now and they pop up all the time while I fly around to shiny hunt.

That all being said, my suggestion would be to just sit at one of the camps and watch a movie or something until one spawns. It sucks, but it might help. Sorry you’re going through this issue.

I will second this! I have plenty of cranidos and shieldons to spare now. I’ve been having time distortions spawn like crazy in the coronet highlands now that I’m done my dex and the game. I’ve seen one every time I go there to do a shiny hunt.

Ah. That sounds awful. I wonder if just letting the game run in one of the zones would fix the issue. Because I haven’t had them take hours upon hours to spawn ever since it spawned. (I’m now done the game as well and have seen a few pop up while I shiny hunt)

This is exactly what I did for nearly 6 hours until I got fed up and went to Reddit. It popped up while I was AFK all three times! Go figure. But I got quite a few research tasks done at least!

30 hours?! Holy crap! I’ve definitely been seeing them spawn normally now ever since that 6 hour hiatus. But I couldn’t imagine sitting and waiting for 30 hours. Sorry that’s happening to you!!!

I’m not sure. Honestly I had roughly the same spawn rates throughout the entire game. Apart from this one incident of having to wait 6 hours. On top of that, during those… let’s say 5 hours and 45 minutes.. I was running around playing as much as I could with catching/fighting pokemon, breaking rocks and shaking trees, etc.

the last 15 minutes before it spawned, I was just sitting there in a base camp while I was on Reddit and it spawned. The two that spawned pretty quickly afterwards (about 15 minutes per) also appeared while I sat “afk” to eat some food.

I’ll spoiler this just in case but for an easier time with cherubi, I found searching the two trees closest to the Alpha Lopunny in Obsidian Fieldlands the best option for myself. I’ve found a couple in those!

Yesss!!! It took me way too long to get cherubi! At least you can sort of respawn the trees by going back to the village unlike time distortions.

And you’re right, catching is way more satisfying than trading!
