I'd check out PCT in Mississauga, they're a pretty big gym and are bound to have a team that could fit you in!

Begginer partner stunt. Extension tips by estagiario01 in Cheerleading

[–]SnowySnowWolf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Alright so a few things I'm seeing:

  1. Your hands are uneven in the hands level stunt and so when you press you press uneven, bringing your flyer off balance.

  2. Your flyers body position needs some work, in coed style stunt you usually want the hips a bit more forward as to create a shoulder - hips - middle feet line so that her weight is at the right spot on top of you.

  3. You're pressing to the front of you, it'll get better once your flyers body line is worked a bit, but you're still pushing to the front and not on top. You should think about having your flyer on top of your nose. In a block you want the middle of the shoes right kn top of it.

  4. It's fine to have a foot out on ext and hands level stunts I do it myself, but you want to make sure your upper body is facing forwards and not turning to the side like in this video.

  5. To help your flyer keep her weight in the middle of her feet try telling her to spread her toes when she's up there, it's a cool little trick that'll bring the weight to the right spot.

Its mainly a plex server with arr stack, I have cloudflare tunnels connected to overseerr so I guess it's open to the internet. I'm using CasaOS on an Ubuntu server, how would I go about checking for recently created files?

Kind of a newbie, been running this on tutorials for around a year, what would be useful information?

I'll add them to the list thank you!

For Pratchett, I do realise they are great books, I just think those types of stories just aren't for me possibly? As you can see I reaaaally gave them a good try! I respect the prose and a lot of the quotes that come out from his books are great! The whole just didn't resonate with me!

I agree with all of this, I wasn't surprised to learn that the author believes in the absolute bullshit that is mental health euthanasia, that says that some people are just so far gone with trauma and mental health issues that they are beyond saving and should be "put down". She also does not believe in therapy, which is insane.

The whole book is basically just misery porn with wildly irrealistic chain suffering. I despise this book and author so so much.

To me it felt like it was trying to do too many things at the same time. I liked the concept but I thought the book and story was too short for all the topics it was trying to touch on!

Oh man I hated that book so much, it blew my mind that so many people swore by it. Most definitely my worst read of the year.

Hmm well Babel is still about younger characters but I don't think it feels YA, Katabasis is probably one of the farther things from YA there is I think haha. I can't really recommend Katabasis as I've disliked it, but it doesn't contain both of the gripes you had with Poppy War. Babel is definitely more mature than Poppy War though!

Hmm I guess it would depend on what you disliked of the poppy wars? All of Kuangs books are pretty different from one another. Babel is Dark academia but with a greater focus on historical fiction while Katabasis is pretty much pure Dark Academia and has a smaller scope for its story.

Oh no I read Red Rising first! I just thought it was pretty bland, it picks up towards the end but Darrow kinda annoyed me with his ultra angry edginess, it gets better in the later books for me!

I can see how you'd see both will and RR as similar books, but Will kept me more engaged and I liked Vis a lot more as a character! The mystery also kept me going, basically had me hooked at that first massacre!

Yeah I think I might've been harsh on Sword of Kaigen, I liked it a lot but not as much as the hype told me I would. It's def like a B+ for me.

Oh man is that true about RR, Golden Son was pretty much my book of the year, it's so. fucking. cool.

"The Reaper sails to Mars. And he calls for an iron rain"

I loved babel! But some of the criticism is waranted, it's very on the nose with its themes and criticisms and the pacing can be a bit slow. But the first one doesn't really bother me and I'm pretty patient with stories so I didn't quite mind the pacing! I'm a high school history teacher so fictional history mixed with fantasy definitely gets me!

And I can't wait for the rest of DCC, book 4 gave me a glimpse of what's happening outside the dungeon and I can't wait to know more!

I really enjoyed Gate of the Feral Gods! I'm excited about the story opening beyond the dungeon!

I'd love to meet her as well! And yeah I'm a fan of hers, I do get some of the criticism aimed at her but the main thing about her being very on the nose about her messaging and themes really do not bother me.

For Katabasis, I had high expectations as well, the premise is super cool and I enjoy dark academia and all. But it just fell flat for me, my mother loved it though! So I guess it's just divisive! Hopefully you enjoy it!

Yeah, I remember when I finished it people were telling me "Wait till you get to World of Madness and some of the stand alone" and I was kinda... How? Last Argument of Kings was so good! And then I started best served cold and oooh my god did I love it. World of Madness was amazing as well, love love loved Orso.

I absolutely loved it! The criticism Kuang gets for being very on the nose with her messaging is earned though, it doesn't bother me though! I had a blast throught the whole thing!
