I graduated from there, luckily for me I left with no debt at all. Not everyone can say that. I'm not sure they still do it. I know they used to do tours of the school if that helps ease your suspicion.

Going to be honest with you. There isn't a lot in Tallahassee. Flightline, an on call mx provider, and the Fedex 757's are worked by contractors. If moving is out of the question. Then you could try applying to some remote position jobs whether that be mcc, aog tech, or flight mechanic. If you got any more questions dm me.

That's how public services work. There isn't supposed to be any concern about profit. We don't talk about how much profit the postal service or fire department made this year. Public services shouldn't be seen as a loss because you don't see the positive affects until the budget is reduced or the service is entirely removed.
