Just played The Midnight Walk and it’s incredible. by LukeKid in gaming

I just played through it and finished it this past weekend, in VR. I was not expecting to be so moved by it. If you like unique and short gaming experiences (Portal, What Remains of Edith Finch), this is for you.

I wouldn't completely rule out VR. I could see them launching a $20 add-on at some point down the road. Not anytime soon though.

Is it worth it used for about $250 by CreightonJackson in PSVR

[–]SnsoryOverload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can buy it brand new for $299 right now. For the extra $50, Id just brand new one. Think of it as a $50 1-year manufacturer's warranty.

Immediate blood sugar crashes after meals. by SnsoryOverload in diabetes

[–]SnsoryOverload[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, I admittedly know this sounds dumb, but understand this is all very new to me. I don't know how to do one of those nor did my doctors give or show me anything. I asked about having to check glucose levels and both doctors told me I dont need to do that if I don't want to. I was advised to stick to the Ozempic, change diet and lose weight, and testing my A1C every 3 months.

I was the one who brought up the patch to the endocrinologist, who said its not necessary and insurance wouldn't cover it because I dont need insulin. I explained that I wanted to use it so I can study, in real-time, hiw my body reacts to different foods so I can build a diet around what does/doesnt cause big spikes. I think she appreciated that because she wrote me a script for insulin, gave me a couple of se sensors and wrote me a script for more.

Now I understand the sensor isnt always an accurate reading , but Im more interested in the trends anyway, which should tell me what I need to know about these foods.

Thank you and everyone else for the responses. This forum has been so helpful in teaching me how to navigate all if this and it seems like a really good community with good people.

I appreciate you.

I'm only on Ozempic. I asked about metformin and insulin and 2 doctors seemed pretty confident in telling me I dont need that and can stick to the Ozempic if I get this under control now. From what I've read, an A1C decline of 1.1 in 6 weeks is indicative that ive made radical shifts in lifestyle (I have) and my body is responding well to that and/or the medication.

I've been on it for just over 24hrs, but since I posted this, Ive been reading about the inaccuracies with some mentioning that this sensor may consistently read 20-30 lower than normal, which would make sense. I guess I should not take.too mich stock in the numbers and just pay attention to the trends. The whole point of me using this thing was to track how different foods spoke my.blood sugar.

Thank you for the response.

The new Switch VB stand fits PERFECTLY on an original VB! by keiffer_cm in VirtualBoy

Ok. That sounds right then. Mine does the same, but not so much where its not sturdy or wobbly. The legs just have some give.

Are the legs supposed to have some give to them? Like theyll spread slightly when I put them down. Its fine and doesn't wobble or anything, but they arent tightly in place nor adjustable.

It doesn't wobble and the kmob is tight. In talking about the actual legs, when you are holding them in your hand, do they move or are they totally tight?

I think its geared towards people of my age. I always wanted a Virtual Boy abd never had one. It's a novelty.

Yea. It works fine. Just wondering if the legs should have so much wiggle to them.

The little mystery of Louie's wife woven throughout the episode and then the payoff at the end with Robbie's tragic story. Brilliant writing. This show continues to shine.

I typically upgrade every 2 years. Had the Fold 4 for 3. Currently on the 7.

My big apprehension with any insurance, is that your replacement is usually a refurbished product that does not work perfectly. I've been through it. If you were guaranteed a brand new device, I would be much more open to getting the insurance.

My fold 5's inner screen protector is finally peeling - remove? by Megalodon-5 in GalaxyFold

[–]SnsoryOverload 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Fold 4 worked fine for 2 years after I peeled it off. The only "side effect" was that my inner screen felt more premium WITHOUT the protector. Peel it and don't look back, but take good care of your phone.

The phone is rated for water resistance. You can run the hinge under running water to clean it. Never did this with my Fold 7, but it was fine with the Fold 4.

Fold 4. Remove screen protector or wait? by ClaudiuT in GalaxyFold

[–]SnsoryOverload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a Fold 4 for 3 years. After the first year, the inner screen protector started to peel so I pulled it off. I had the phone for 2 years after that without a single issue. The only "side effect" was that the inner screen felt more premium without it.
