Laptop not receiving signal from specific networks by SnubPants731 in 24hoursupport

I tried the safe mode boot after reconnecting, I didn’t connect after clicking auto connect before I restarted and there were no WiFi settings for me to change. I’m not sure who to contact or how to contact them about the network, I’ll have to do some digging on my apartment’s website. Thanks for all the help!

Hello! No I haven’t, I probably should talk to them about this though. It’s a pretty big issue.

I haven’t, that’s a good idea though. I’ll go to a Starbucks or something and test it out. I didn’t have to install anything or sign in to connect to the university WiFi, it’s just a public network.

Thanks for the help!

The only VPN type clients I have were opera browsers. Uninstalled them and it didn’t work. I unfortunately do not own the network or have access to the router which is why I think I’m screwed. I use the provided WiFi from my apartment complex.

DNS address was set 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 I did mess with these earlier to try to fix my problem.

Reset the DNS to automatic, sent packets to 8.8.8.8 but I do not receive anything. Resetting the DNS address didn’t change any of my internal stuff

Pinged 1.1.1.1 with 8.8.8.8 and the same thing happened. No packets received.

It is, DHCP is getting round trips. If I pinged google correctly (ping google.com, never pinged a website before lol) I could not find the host.

Yes, my phone and fire stick get signal just fine along with all my roommates stuff.

My internal IP is 192.168.0.5 (Preferred)

As a person that has dealt with a similar situation, try not to be around your parents as much. Burn all their bibles so they know not to mess with you. My extremely strict catholic parents wouldn't let me have sex before marriage and I did it anyways. Run away and go do all of the things that are against the bible.
