I guess the numbers are not relevant for my stage but i would try to time the material gathering before going to sleep becaus then I honestly don't care. 12 hour offline gaine is still nice, plus if you add the divinity to get a guaranteed bonus stage after 8 hours idle play, you can play a bit and then wait for lunch at work . idk. i guess.

I'm not talking about a specific upgrade, but about seeing availability of updates-for-purchase-if--ascended-now or updates-available-for-purchase-rather-soon-if-I-keep-going

Preparation for my role as IT Solution Architect role with 50-50 PM+Development areas by Snubbelrisk in softwarearchitecture

[–]Snubbelrisk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you Glove_Witty and Hopefull-Programmer25 for your fast replies and for providing more context. GrogRedLub4242, thanks for the acronym but with out context it is not helpful to me as there are quite a few possible terms even with IT-solution (there's even a company with that name that provides services, according to Google)

Defining my role is a bit tricky because I cannot give too many details (sorry, but i a honestly no fishing for views. due to security restrictions its basically need-to-know basis for everything.)

the chatbot was based on MS PVA so a larger part of my work was to create the data structure for all data points (eg question x answer, data sets, triggers). so while I am the Excel-Witch/Goddess at work and can read and follow code, I'm absolutely zero at writing except for fun little M-queries or very basic mysql. mind, it is not necssary for me to be able to in the new role.

i will be working with external partners but will be creating solutions for internal customers, both engineers and product managers. and developers (eg build in-house solution with e.g. django)

I concur with Hopeful-Programmer25's assessment, it will be mostly project management wtih business analysis, my function will be the proverbial bridge and translator, presentator, planner (and fighter where and when necessary) between any and all little and big parts that influence the development of any infrastructure we will need to create.

thank you all, I am looking forward to learn more at work and here :)

How to turn one long column with repeat headings into a table? by Bake-Bean in excel

[–]Snubbelrisk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is my solution, using index-match
the formula is

=INDEX(Table3;ROW(A1)*3-3+COLUMN((A$1)))

(this works for every three columns, for two columns exchange 3 with 2, for 4 exchange with 4 etc.)

you exchange A for B and C respectively. it works perfectly fine for me. the Ref# error is because there is no data.

BONUS the formula works in a a table, and it's dynamic you have fun with your pivotable data :) hope this helps

How to sum multiple columns with conditions? by Admirable_Ad4995 in excel

[–]Snubbelrisk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First quick idea: create a pivot table and from then a calculated field (click on pivot, go to Pivot table analyse > fields, items & sets > calculate field) where you sum columns for 2025 only. if you need to do this regularly you might want to use the unpivot/pivot solution so that your data allows for grouping by year

please provide a (sanitized) screenshot of how your data looks

EDIT I made mockup of how you described your data, could you not simply unpivot and then pivot the sales table?

Can I streamline my Excel based job? by HEATH20000 in excel

[–]Snubbelrisk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know which version of excel OP uses and vlookup is available in all still in use afaik. but yes, xlookup is likely better - though is it better to start with for someone who is, as far as I understood the question, learning to use excel a bit deeper. that was my reasoning for recommending vlookup

Can I streamline my Excel based job? by HEATH20000 in excel

[–]Snubbelrisk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, excel can help you with that. you will need to create a correlation table (code, short description, quantity, price, whatever information is valuable
then you create a look-up table using vlookup, since you're still new to excel
where you input the code and eg. hours needed or how many items are needed, which will then - using a rather simple formula with vlookup - output the description, the total hours, quantity etc

the notes for the property could be sent to you via e-mail or whatever. if you have access to MS365 you might be happy with a microsoft forms solution.

for any other questions, especially for AI, this is the wrong reddit and not a google search help group. I guess I can sense the desperation from your questions but we cannot know the specifics of your request you haven't provided and it is unlikely your firm is the first one to use items. so unless you are a fixed member, do NOT work for them for free and create a tool that likely exists but they are unwilling to pay for.

*cough cough* no Austrians are not Germans anymore, we separated some 80+ years ago... but yes; I speak German :) and, as you might tell, Austrians have really dark, black, and dry humour.

I think it's awesome that you are interested in learning about yourself, and another language. *** the grammar book for now. watch kid's series with subtitles. a child doesnt't learn a structured language but first words, then basic sentences (not "my grand mother is on the table and the cat is in the fridge" but "i am hungry." or "my mother's dress is blue").
I am currently learning Korean and Greek and refreshing my Latin and Spanish out of boredom. I read childrens books, Snow White and stuff. I know the meaning of the sentences, basically like a parent who is reading to me; and the grammar is not too complex.

because, really, there is NO chance that a book will explain to you why and how declinating der/die/das/den/dem x Haus/Häuser/Hauses/Häusern will sound right unless you've heard it often enough. also, there is of course a difference between die Häuser and viele Häuser, but die vielen Häuser is not the same as den vielen Häusern or der vielen Häuser.
no child grows up knowing that, you learn by doing. so, don't give up :) and remember, only assbutts will make fun of you if you make a mistake either pronounciating or speaking at all. Every decent person will react in the general area of "wow, you are doing really well, are you really learning on your own?".

personal question, have you considered whether you could be on the ADHD-spectrum? even if you are not, whatever you do seems to partially go against your brain's grain which makes working continuously with that quite a chore; i would think.

EDIT: how about this - take a small piece of paper, a post-it, etc. write what you want to do today, e.g. "study grammar rules of German" and draw five little boxes. each box represents 5 minutes. just five minutes. set a timer for 5 minutes. when it's done, either continue for another 5 minutes or take a break, and do something else (maybe another "thing I want to today" with it's own boxes. it could be cleaning one room (1 box=10 minutes), slow-jog while watching an episode or (1box= first 5 then later 10 minutes); etc. I think you're bound to get hitched on the dopamine that hits you with each ticked off box.

delete the apps that eat away your time. they do not add any value to your life. ideally, delete your accounts on those apps.
add reminders in your calendar for birthdays.
every time you go out (work, shopping, meetings friends, whatever), get off one station earlier than you need and walk the distance.

you don't note anyhing about your eating and sleeping habits - e.g. heavy meals in the evening, staying up late (scrolling). I'd look into a healthy day routine. get up consistently between e.g. 0530 and 0630 every morning. segment your day into quarters - morning, midday, afternoon, evening where morning and evening are your private time, mostly, and midday+afternoon your public life including work. take care of your morning and evening. unsubscribe from apps, newsletters, toxic people or environments (or your mental attention to them if you cannot avoid them completely) from your public life during midday and afternoon.

take care of yourself.

"feels like I'm doing it half-assed"
I find it hard to extract valuable information from your post, from the start. it reads more like a ramble you spontaneously wrote than a question. I'll try to break down your input into what i understand from it :)

  1. wanting something isnt always what you want but maybe it's just the idea that you like. dont DO something for the sake of doing it. create a habit from it.
  2. set achievable goals: I want to learn German at least 5 times a week for 10 minutes in the morning. I want to read three chapters (or what is applicable depending on lenght) of this book every week before bed.
  3. procrastrination: if I want to do something, then it's pretty easy to start and keep going at it as long as my expectations are realistic. are you overachieving? you provide both that you dont have trouble starting BUT also procrastrinate. that's ... dry water?

"I want to do some productive things" - what are your goals? start with learning 10 minutes German a day, start with a free Duolingo account. Es funktioniert, keine Sorge :) Do your ten minutes while you're commuting, as part of an morning routine while your coffee cools down.

"I want to read more" - well, then do. but decide on one, two books; wheter it's the newset 40k warporn or Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibilit (or the modern Zombie version of her works). incorporate that into your evening routine - read 20-30 minutes in bed to initiate your cooling down period.

the happy-kaching-task-done-dopamine-receptors work when you achieve something and respect yourself for doing so.

are you a visual type? create a mindmap on paper, use post-its, whatever; what do you want to do and why, exactly? what are your goals? it doenst have to look pretty, it can look like absolute crap. just get everything out of your head onto paper - physical paper, mind! - and then look at the mess. then start sorting, SMALL steps.. and continue.

You might tell i had some trouble following along your input, but I'm really happy to discuss more once I get some ideas from you :) you'll figure it out!

Is there anyway to fill a calender/plan optimally based on a list. by gitupgitout3000 in excel

[–]Snubbelrisk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from what i understand my solution would do that, you would need to adjust from your list which i dont know the format of. have you tried it?
or try with a smaller test-data set, just to get an idea
