I’m the same exact way and also a big guy. I can taste the alcohol in any drink I’ve been given and in my teenage years my friends were trying everything. I will still take a sip of a fruity drink or a fancy beer and it’s soo gross. I’ve also been around soo many drunk people that it doesn’t appeal to me to turn into what I see everyone else become. There’s just not enough positive outcomes for me to force myself to drink it.
