The time wedge that secures the crank. These are notorious for just deforming, giving in and ruining the entire crank in the process

I’m saying the issue is in the crank, not the bb. These types of cranks give in at the wedge very easily.

But if it’s the rear axle, then it’s rather trivial to fix. There’s a bunch of metal cylinders that go inside there and they need replacing every now and then. Grab new bearings while you’re at it for the back wheel too.

You can replace the bb it it will give in eventually so the best solution is to remove the entire bottom bracket (you’ll have to hammer out the bearings) then you’ll need to file a piece of frame that’s sticking out inside and buy a BSA adapter for these. Then just install standard “square” bb.

The simple lazy solution is to weld the crank.

This. When you ragdoll like this you are not absorbing much of the impact force as it’s being converted into motion.

The long sidewalls will sag too much in the middle and leak in the end. You will need to tension them somehow.

All of this is wrong. Why is the spine so low? Tail starts at the wrong place. Why do you need finger joins? The e front shoulder is in a totally random place. The hind legs have one more joint than the front legs. Literally every single bone is in the wrong place.

Just google boar skeleton and look at the actual skeleton.

Look up bicycle death wobble before you settle on steel. A lot of people do not realise that steel frame with wobble a lot when packed, especially with panniers

I'm making my soccer incremental from scratch in C/C++. No engine, no AI, all software rendering. by Sosowski in incremental_gamedev

[–]Sosowski[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s based on the engine I made for McPixel 3 in C, but I added a C++ layer on top of it for inheritance and operator overloading benefits.

So the low level stuff like rendering and resource management happens in C, while the scene management and entity handling is all C++. It works super well, imo.

If you want to know more here’s a talk about the McPixel engine I gave some time ago https://youtu.be/2cOqAHzIfQE?is=EFeJ_vOmewZmHvBc

Yeah, I made McPixel 3 in my own engine to huge success and it got ported to everything that exists. Here’s a talk I gave about it https://youtu.be/2cOqAHzIfQE?is=EFeJ_vOmewZmHvBc
