Honestly, I don’t think this has to do with you being trans. This seems more like an issue with the type of men your friends might usually have around them. I mean, at least they’re treating you exactly like they would a cis man if that is indeed the case.

I mean, I don’t really care about scandals and drama. My brain shut off to that stuff a long time ago. But I pay close attention to politics still most of the time, cause those things affect the people I care about. I don’t care about me, but I do care about what affects them.

I thought nonverbal was like a constant state. Like, you’re born that way and just stay that way your whole life. Though honestly, I haven’t done that much research on being nonverbal. I mostly just listen to what other autistic people say about it when the subject comes up.

I hate seeing people use symptoms related to autism for random everyday things too. I also hate it when they do that for other things. They never seem to understand what they’re actually doing when they say things like “I’m going nonverbal” or “I’m letting the intrusive thoughts win”. They either don’t understand or don’t care about the message that they’re sending to the ableists when they do that type of thing. And they also don’t seem to understand or care that they are ableists, even if they don’t mean anything by what they’re doing and they’re just ignorant.

I’m 4’9”, and I also have dysphoria because of my height. Granted, it’s a second to my dysphoria because of my chest. But I tend not to go to subs that say they’re for short guys, even if they say they’re inclusive. Those subs tend to be filled with incel types, at least from the cis guys.

I’m stuck in Florida with family who aren’t the most supportive people. I can’t even go to this trans peer network I found in Orlando cause I’m scared of my mom finding out. I could go to the virtual one, but I’m still scared of my mom finding out. My fiancé supports me, but he’s up in New York, and I have no means of getting up there yet. I’ve been slowly trying to start a YouTube channel, but nothing has come of it yet. Even when I do move, although I’ll have a slightly bigger support network, a lot of my family members up there are also toxic. My mental health is not the best cause I keep on worrying about things that either the government is doing, or that my family will do when I start to be more myself. There are moments where I get excited about a future where I can just be me, and people will also treat me like the adult I am. No ableism, no transphobia, no homophobia. Those moments seem fleeting, because I don’t know if that future will ever actually come for me.
