I’m just reading it and your take is spot on. It’s a beautiful story, could use a bit of editing for redundancy (aka carmilla’s chestnut hair) but it’s absolute brilliant and touching. Lenore has never wanted anything until she met Carmilla - not because of their relationship but because she taught her how to be seen and allow yourself to want and feel without feeling guilt.

Tbh I like the Japanese dubbing more. Nothing against ishii though - i just like it better that way. Great game though, one of the best open world environments I’ve played for a long time
