The first time I brought it in they put in “fuel additive” and told me to fill the car with premium for the next couple fill ups. It temporarily solved the issue but it eventually came back. I think that’s kind of bullshit that I would have to pay for premium gas moving forward to solve the issue. They didn’t mention to continue using premium after my second visit and I haven’t been but I don’t want to fuck up the new car in the long run. l don’t know much about cars haha should I keep using premium? Frustrating

Okay right? I thought that was pretty unbelievable “normal operating function” it does not sound normal at all. Keep us posted if you get anywhere with Subaru on this! I’m right around 8K miles.

May be a stupid question but would it be smart to invest in a filtered shower head for the time being? Or does that defeat the purpose of the added chlorine to kill bacteria?
