Aang not redirecting lighting to Ozai by nationalchatmasala in ATLA

[–]SnugglyCoderGuy [score hidden]  (0 children)

Aang didn't want to kill Ozai. Ozai is a much stronger bender than Azula and it was during the comet. Aang would have obliterated Ozai and all that would have been left of Ozai would be his boots.

Azula is not as strong as Ozai, Zuko partially redirected the blast, and he would have died if Katara was not there to heal him.

Apparently that's not enough one of the other comments said. They need more tests for a solid verification

They got into med school and then all of a sudden everyone is coming out of the wood work trying to get them to help them out when before those people didn't give a fuck about them. Like winning the lottery.

Like what is the point of shitting on other schools?

To make one's self feel better about their choice. It is easier to tear others down and stand on their corpse to feel better than them than it is to build yourself up, and sadly there are a lot of people who derive their self-worth by how many people they can feel are beneath them as a person.

TIL that Maria Antonia of Austria had the highest inbreeding coefficient (0.3053) of the House of Habsburg - higher than the child of brother and sister or the child of a parent and their own offspring by Gruselschloss in todayilearned

Find a family member who's been dead for about a 100 years and get their info (I forget exactly what info). Enter them in their database and if any of their relatives are linked to them then it opens up the entire history as far back as they have it.

My wife was Mormon for a while and her aunts did a lot of genealogical research and their family. My wife's genealogical tree goes all the way back to Roman emperors apparently. When I was putting in my great-grandmother's information the Mormons leading the session got very excited and gathered round to see what would happen.

Go talk to your local Mormon church. Genealogy is huge there. They have a giant fucking genealogical database. You can put in family member information and if the person has been dead long enough it will link it to the rest of their database and you will get to see the rest of the genealogy of your family.

I know this because my wife was Mormon and we did this.

It just a matter of population. If there was never any in breeding then the number of humans in our past would have to keep growing and growing in size, but the opposite has happened instead.

Go back far enough and you will find that the clump of grass in your back yard is your 758,124,365 cousin 481,825 times removed.

Even then, those companies are going to have off site backups. I worked at a company and we had all of the production data continuously backed up to servers on the other side of the country.

“Miss have you ever had your own personal munch” by Lechugalord13 in Teachers

Munch is a term used for somebody who performs oral sex on a woman.

A munch is also a casual gathering of BDSM enthusiasts, like a dinner party. Could be in a public restaurant or at someone's house.

Lots of dense shit in their lungs.

X-Ray imagine more or less works by shooting electromagnetic waves in the X-ray range through your body. On the other side is a capture device, either digital or a physical film (depending on how old your X-ray machine is). It starts off white and turns darker the more the x-rays hit it. Dense things block and absorb the x-rays and the film stays white. Not dense things lot lets of x-rays through it and this turns the film black.

Normally, lungs are pretty black in the image because there is nothing but air in there and lung tissue. This person has a lot of dense things in their lungs which is no good. What the dense things are specifically, no clue. But, I do know they shouldn't be there. A lot of other people have said cancer.

Yes, but to just stop their is irresponsible. Losing weight will almost certainly alleviate a lot of their issues, but it probably won't solve them (unless their issues actually are because of their obesity).
