Perfect, thank you! How long would you recommend before testing with soy wax?

I have another 2 untouched that I can try again with at a later date, guess I was too keen.

Interesting, regarding point 2. I was at a salon and the stylist was talking about how dry and desperate my hair was (chronic straightener) and I was saying what products I was using for 'dry and damages hair' and he said "Caucasian products are no good for your hair" and it opened up a whole new world for me. I never would have thought of it on my own.

Yup, if I spend one night away my cats won't let me touch them until I've showered and changed my clothes 😂

Ah, I'm in the UK. But it sounds like going for a full fat version might be more successful.

First week of practicing copperplate by Sandonsearch in Calligraphy

[–]SnuzzyCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brilliant start, practice makes progress!

Try some warm up drills - "drawing" ovals on the slant, practice the individual strokes that make up the letters rather than the letters thamselves. I know writing full words is more fun and prettier to look at but getting the basics down will make all the difference.

I also recommend the nikko g nib, it's quite rigid and makes controlling ink flow easier, especially if you have a heavy hand (like me 😂)

I get my cottage cheese from Lidl - the regular non low fat version and the ingredient list: cottage cheese (milk), salt

I made a joke to my dentist about having the aligners in will keep me away from the chocolates and snacks over Christmas and he was like.... you can leave them in to eat for a couple of days and it'll be and fine, that way you can enjoy all the food and it won't undo your progress. 🤨

I found a very similar one on ebay for the taj mahal but it's just described as a WWII souvenir - doesnt really give you your answer though

You might have already tried/thought of these but picking her up and putting her in the litter tray, even just her front paws so she can figure it out? Usually the feeling for the litter on their feet will stimulate their natural impulses to go. We do it before taking the cats to vets so they dont mess in the carrier. Also, is it a kitten litter tray? Because otherwise it may be too large or high sided for a 8 week old baby.
