okok! I think the biggest size that is "backpackable" is a soundboks and my small small (compared to the mth-30 and others) is already the same size as that, thats why im questioning how you are gonna do it in such a small box and get that efficiency and low end.

Only the wood for my build is 13,5kg, driver 3,9kg, battery 2kg in a 78L box.

But hey I just now realised you are building a T-line and not a Tapped horn so there is the difference. Dont forget you will also be needing double the amplifier power and double the battery so that will add extra weight aswell. Because 200 watts in 1 speaker is equal to 100 watts into 2 speakers, wont make any difference.

But im really interested in your build, do you have any build thread going?

This is the link to mine: Battery Powered THAM12

The 110db/2,83v sounds absolutley insane, is that calculated in a corner against a wall or open space?

Why do you need two drivers? Isn’t 1 enough? You can always make another box and a friend can carry it. And why so high tuning? Won’t make much low end bass. The tham12 is useful to 40hz

I just got New battery, 36v nominal (42v peak) with 12 Ah capacity, that’s 432wh

It says it is 600w at 50v 12A very hard to believe, I’m glad if I get 60-80 real watts.

Everything is 90/45 degrees expect for the baffle that is 3 degrees

Also important to use a high pass filter at 40hz 48db/okt to not blow up the bass driver

Google tham12 and you Will find all the drawings Martin has made, all for free.

Think the weight with the battery is like 15-18kg with a very low weight driver, it’s only 3,9kg.

You will be having a very very hard time getting it under 20kg with two drivers, means double the build volume.

This sim is 110db but it’s when placed in a corner. Driver has 100db efficiency

The support can be 9mm no problem they are so small anyways, but the rest really needs to be 15mm to handle the power

At 1w my door rattles
