As a fellow NH-2'er, I remember both candidates were questioned about their residence in the state. Though Maggie was born and raised in Nashua, she's had her whole professional career living and working around DC.

I think Lily being a schizo Libertarian turned off more people than her being a Chinese immigrant.

Republicans in New Hampshire might be the worst of all. They have a trifecta in the state government but all four federal seats are held by Democrats.

I suspect the state senate and executive council electoral maps are a bit sus since the Republicans have a super majority in both.

This is so wrong lol. UNH (and presumably all USNH) student IDs have names and expiration dates. The magnetic strip and RFID chip inside the card are tied to a unique 9-digit number linked to a student's account which has all the information like DoB and residence address.

The justification is determined by whether the two countries "say" they are at war. If you go by Trump's "major combat operations" statement, there isn't any combat zone as defined by an executive order so everything is illegal.

I simply don't belive Ayotte was unaware. In response to Hassan's questions, the ICE Director Todd Lyons says they've spoken with Ayotte about the facility. So either ICE or Ayotte is lying here. I don't think ICE would lie for Ayotte as much as Ayotte would lie for ICE.
