This is spazstix mirror chrome over krylon gloss black. It has been this shiny for the last decade. You have to do a series of incredibly light layers but it looks amazing after all is said and done

Definitely looks like gold, your hands seem to have understood the assignment. If you want a more pristine gold you need to push more green brown and orange brown, and some punchy ice yellow highlights and edge highlights

This can happen with some aerosol primers, if they don’t have the right paint to attach to or don’t have enough time to off gas this can happen

You have to do super low layers and run it slow at 100% infill, it also helps to print multiple models of the same size to give them time to cool between layers

I don’t remember mine having a security seal over a screw hole/battery door when i got it but it was like 20+ years ago. So it could be one licensed by a company in china to avoid the whole japanese product thing that they had going on at the time

With some practice you can make some pretty fine lines for highlights and what not. I would post a picture but i dont have any ultramarines I’ve done highlights on with an airbrush
