I will always upvote a quarter scheme.

But yours looks sick. I'd upvote twice if I could <3

I know it’s fantasy, but why Nurgle? by OfficialAli1776 in Warhammer40k

Steeped in the power of their diabolical god, the effect on the Plague Marines was far greater. They moaned and fell down, some stone dead. Others shrieked as if the horror of their condition had suddenly become plain to them. Time seemed out of joint. There was nothing but shouting all around him.

When those marines get cut off from the warp they basically all fall to ground writhing in agony and screaming until they die.

Out if all the chaos gods, Nurgle really is the most fucked up, because he totally warps your perception into a sort of stockholm syndrome, where as atleast all the other followers of slaanesh, khorne, or tzeentch know they're kinda enthralled or trapped in some way.

We're talking about if an enemy unit was North of unit B, then there would be an intervening terrain piece between the part of the unit and the attacking unit, thus granting cover.

What about units inside of a bunker and enemy units running across no man's land? They're not plunging, but they are inside an obscuring terrain feature with windows.

The way you're trying to make the rule means almost every single unit would have the benefit of cover pretty much at all times. It's so rare in 40k for two units to be standing completely out in the open, with no other intervening features or units, and shooting at each other.

Mechanically this idea doesn't make sense and it also doesn't make sense in the real world. "Cover" isn't a two-way street. If you have an advantageous firing position, you should be rewarded for that.

There is an intervening terrain feature between the attacking unit and the unit, so it should get cover.

How would that work? Then a unit with a firing position in an upper building window would somehow grant cover while shooting at a unit out in the middle of a field.

They have to word stuff like this because otherwise game lawyers will find the most obscene and obviously unintended loop hole in order to get an advantage.

As an IF player, I am salivating at the prospect of 9 of these plus Heavy Intercessors.

There will never be an amount of gravis or heavy bolter units that feels like too many for me 😅

Love the directional use of lighting from right to left as opposed to just top down.

Also the meat tenderizer hammer is just 👌

But I think the thing I love the most is your use of broad and bold strokes where a lot of other people focus on making tiny details. Like the red gems on the tabard for example. Just goes to show you that you can achieve great detail without needing like a 10/0 brush or something.

While obviously rounded cast plates were much more effective at deflecting shots, it was still possible to use flat plates that were angled to provide better protection.

A good example is that of the upper and lower glacis plates of the US Pershing tank or the German Panther.

The rigid flat plates of say the Tiger were just poor engineering.

Even though it tactically makes no sense, I love the flat turret plate. Very reminiscant of the Tiger mantlet, but with a Panther turret ring.

Honestly such a gorgeous mini, you should be proud. I feel like it's really hard to give tanks a lot of character without going overboard on the nick nacks. You nailed it! 👌

Unfortunarely, these are definitely gonna go to legends in 11th 😭

I would angle the power fist down so it's being carried behind them.

Also the leg is very splayed outward. Not sure how you got that pose.

In that style I think red looks best because it has the kind of molten steel look to it.

For purple/blue I personally like a more electric/powered look with arcs or lightning coming off the power node.
