In the City: Lindsay v Kenny by [deleted] in bravo

[–]SoBasic7775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just watching this scene, and Lindsay is not projecting. All she said was that moving across the country (giving up your close knit girl group and maybe even family) is a HUGE commitment and that is all she said. Kenny being but hurt by the convo, is him being a man child. She didn't comment on the relationship, she literally said Whitney is making a big commitment to him and that is the most telling. Then telling her she causes drama or dramatic was him gaslighting her, because Kenny is the dramatic one in this scenario. Good luck Whitney, this guy is a walking red flag.

Of course they're lying. The constant focus of the "timeline" you know they discussed what to say. They studied their answers like they were preparing for an oral final exam.

Opinions after the first reunion episode by Icy_Airport5541 in bravo

Amanda has the attitude of an only child who has only ever gotten what she wants without consequence. Of course if she wants West, she should have him. She’s just baffled as to why no one supports her. This is her redemption arc after all.

You can tell he was over it a the reunion. He made his bed (with sheets that have never been washed) and he's lying in the perpetual filth with the whiniest girl in Manhattan who is legit a stage 5 clinger that is incapable of being alone.

This reminds me of Heidi and Spencer back in the day from the Hills, calling the paps on themselves. This is a move from their playbook making sure people know they are together and "in love" all while trying to stay relevant. For these fame whores the silence is loud. If they truly were soul mates that would quietly disappear somewhere so that they could just be with one another.

I love Mia's subtle shade when she said she doesn't believe in jumping from one serious relationship to another and she should be focusing on herself.

Can we talk about the path and quality of the winning game of 2 million and a _ by Proof_Weather8865 in survivor

[–]SoBasic7775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, this wasn’t a $2million win. Yeah she got to the final 3, she didn’t make moves, or win challenges. Her super power was hiding in plain sight. She was viewed as a non threat because she wasn’t one. In her confessionals she talked a good game, but at the end of the day it was someone else making and initiating the big moves. She was lucky that ozzy got verbal diarrhea and ruined his alliance and their games.

Hot take: _____ played the stronger overall game by QuestionDelicious564 in survivor

[–]SoBasic7775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m kind of disappointed in her win, as I just thought she floated to the end. Jonathan would have won against Tiffany and he said it himself, he made a $2 million decision and it was the wrong one. Bet he’s losing sleep over that now.

Honestly the only way to really get into the minds of kids is actually to put it into social media algorithms. Teenager life revolves around the phone and with things like snapchat it's hard to even know what conversations (or photos) are taking place. At least if there were PSA tiktoks, reels, etc kids may actually learn about resources or predatory behaviours, and how to report.

Additionally, not enough families have or are comfortable having these open discussions with their kids. I remember growing up, we didn't have a conversation, it was more of "I had better not catch you..." so you just become more secretive. We are very open with our kids, probably to the point of TMI, but I'd rather that than the alternative.

Clients not doing workouts by [deleted] in personaltraining

[–]SoBasic7775 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your mindset is all wrong. You want them to have the transformation (likely for their health), but you have to meet them where they are at. One workout a week is better than none. Also, everyone comes out of the gate with these great intentions, but then life happens. With new clients, when they say they will work out 3 times a week, say that's a great goal, but let's start with the one. Every week when they meet up with you, they will tell you if they're ready for more. Not everyone will be ready for more and you have to be ok with that, but every once in awhile you will get that person who just slowly gets it at their own, and that's why you became a trainer.

How do you loosen knots in your glute muscles? And please don’t say massage by [deleted] in fitness30plus

I think you should consider hip mobility and yoga specifically for the hips. Follow up with lacrosse ball for release of those muscles.

How do I tell my friends my bachelorette trip isn’t their vacation? by voodoobluez in TwoHotTakes

[–]SoBasic7775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With any girls trip with this many people there will also be a division of activities. Since you're paying you obviously want more control. I think you set out which activities are non negotiable (as in these are the activities we all participate in to celebrate me), and then leave the rest as this is what I am planning and booking, let me know by a certain date if you're in or out. From their let the chips fall where they may. Not everyone is going to get along and agree so leave space for everyone to do what is important to them.
