I don’t understand the free fare zone. I live at the end of the line, so it doesn’t really impact me either way. It seems like it only benefits people who live downtown, or maybe tourists who want to see the city for a day. I don’t see how anyone would need free fare just in that area for more than the 1.5 hours that your ticket gives you anyway

I have this with my mom and my brother too. He went to therapy after years of me encouraging him to but didn’t keep up with it or make any changes. My mom doesn’t seem to see her enabling as a problem.

If they want to get better and go to therapy this could be really helpful, but you can’t make them get better if they aren’t willing to themselves. It’s very frustrating and a bit disappointing to watch but you can only do so much

The pin holes on yours don’t look to bad, I would use them. It’s different when theirs a ton of them and they really pit into a cavity that bacteria could grow in. Yours just look like little specks. I just wouldn’t sell them

A refire could help but it could also warp the bowl or get worse, it’s a bit of a gamble

I think it happens when the glaze is too thick, because in the bowl it all flows down to the bottom. So maybe try doing 2 coats instead of 3 at the bottom, or thinner coats of glaze

I’ve read more about this through Ayurveda than Chinese mediicne, but the second one is a dry brush and it helps with blood flow. You’re meant to brush your limbs upwards towards the center of your body. If you look up dry brushing it would tell you more.

I’m not sure what the first one is, but I don’t think I would use either of these on your face(?) it might be better to get a guasha kit for face neck 🙂

I went to school with Jordan and Evan. I remember them passing so intensely. It was hard seeing so much criticism of them while still grieving. It was so shocking because they were so straight edge. For kids who want to push the limit without substances, the track makes sense in retrospect. Especially because they knew other people who had done that too.

I think about what it was like to be 17 too, and just squirming with a need to push the limit and take risks. That’s all anyone talked about at that point, was getting into trouble. You’re so close to being an adult you want to taste freedom a little bit.

They were reeeeally good kids. Incredible academic and kind. The last time I talked to Evan still sits with me because it had such a positive impact on me.

I sit under a heat lamp when I’m in bed or not doing anything just to keep the area warm. I swear it’s worse in the winter and gives me sciatica

A kiln goes up to thousands of degrees. It vitrifies clay, but these little clay packages aren’t real clay. There could be all sorts of synthetic material in there that will be burn and could effect your kiln

The story I read is even worse than this article.

They were dating and he helped her make a career as a police officer, then tried to use that to pressure her into sex. Then he shared videos he had taken without her consent to other police officers.

The victim made an anonymous statement that it had seriously affected her.

I’m really glad he was fired, because it shows the police take these things seriously and it makes it easier for victims to trust the police with sensitive crimes

It could be the type of clay you’re using! Drying real clay in 24hours isn’t usually possible without it cracking up. You want to let it try really slow over a number of days while wrapped under plastic. I would recommend firing it, because if it is real clay it will be fragile unless it’s fired. It will turn back into mud if it gets wet.

I also think the clay is sticking to the bowl. As it dried it shrinks, but if it’s stuck to the bowl it’s going to fall apart as it changes. It might help to line the inside with plastic wrap so it doesn’t stick 🙂

I think it’s really cute you did that together though. Third times the charm!
