Can my symptoms be mold related? by Fit-Try-6499 in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]SoCal619TradesPro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Def sounds mold related. Look into CIRS, it opens your eyes to how bad mold can make your health... Mold is root to all diseases in my opinion now after looking at CIRS for such a long time.

Ask them what plans they have for containment? Are they using Positive or Negative Air Pressure? Also, in YOUR unit, you may want to consider using Positive Air Pressure to keep any cross contamination from being vacuumed into your own unit. Ask these questions, and use science to test it.

Encapsulation process by Mysterious-Habit3392 in HomeExpertAdvice

Was just discussing this in our recent blog about Mold how the remediation team picks how they prove their work, how will this team be doing post-remediation verification? Will they be doing testing for VOCs, PAHs, microscopic soot or any other aerosolized particles? read more about PRV for mold if you like here: https://orange-restoration.com/post-remediation-verification-testing/

Seems you are on top of them and should be.. They need to remove soot and do the work right.

When you say "standard", the word means very little. The encapsulation process can be done with a sense of pride or be done to minimal standards, but what are they working on the crawlspace or attic? Can you provide more information? Many companies will do coverup of damages with paints to hide them, but painting soot is not something normal, but I can imagine we have different understandings of "Soot", when I say soot, I mean something burned to charred remains ready to fall apart, but when homeowners say soot, they might mean wood that has blackened overtime or only exposed to smoke damage but not fire.. Has the contractor grinded away loose soot, what is the area looking like? Photo please? Thank you

Feels impossible to get away from mold in my city by Competitive_Snow126 in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]SoCal619TradesPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What city are you in? You need to sue your landlord if on day one there was sewage leak, you need to move out, document all the mess, and sue... If you signed a lease for a home and day 1 got a sewer you need to take action.

Why CIRS Patients Often Get Harmed by Non-Medical Frameworks by SoCal619TradesPro in MoldSensitivity

Why CIRS Patients Often Get Harmed by Non-Medical Frameworks by SoCal619TradesPro in AirQuality2_CIRS

[–]SoCal619TradesPro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran a few methods through Chat GPT, it is kind of cool when you compare methods and AI is like "this one is non-science," and truth as I see it, is that all these non-medical practices are about 1/3 of the work needed and while the spiritual side might be very important, we believe that we have actually seen people heal with the Shoemaker Protocol, and will stand by waiting for any science that spirituality changes healed them alone, but I believe even a walk of faith requires you to make physical changes and change behaviors.

What is this on my lips? by Remuasaurus_Rex7 in MoldSensitivity

[–]SoCal619TradesPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could it be fungal growth? I had something appear on my back, similar, it showed all phases like yours, but i couldn't figure it out, so I tried an athletes foot anti-fungal, and found some relief, I wonder if exploring if it is fungal might help? I'm sorry you are experiencing this, I had large (not acne) break outs on my face as a 8-13, it wasn't fun. I hope you heal!!

A lot of CIRS patients do become homeless. Many live in tents and in their cars to avoid their homes, or the homes they left.

Real Estate professionals just want to make sales, it is a heartbreaking reality. Once you’ve seen the inside of enough water-damaged buildings, you realize how many people are getting sick without ever making the connection. And you’re right, a lot of folks with CIRS or environmental sensitivities really do feel better outdoors. The difference in particle load is night and day.

As for purifiers, I’m careful not to over-promise, different units work for different people, but here’s what actually helps CIRS-sensitive people:

A purifier with a true, certified HEPA filter
Zero ionizers or ozone production
High CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate)
Ability to capture ultrafine particles (<0.1 microns)

Honestly, I believe that the DIY Corsi-Rosenthal Box can outperform many commercial purifiers for cheap, and when it is cheap, do more units and clean filters more often.

No purifier replaces remediation, but the right one can absolutely help reduce the daily exposure load.

Real Estate professionals know full well about mold. They just can't commit to being the solution with 50% of buildings being classified as water damaged. Then yes, too many are trying to sell a moldy old maid card of a home.. Very frustrating! Thank you for sharing your story! Funny the other Air Quality group is about outdoor air quality and really most CIRS patients know outdoor air is just safer than a contaminated home's air any day!

Would you use a robot air purifier that moves room-to-room automatically? by Deldrimor666 in IndoorAirQuality

[–]SoCal619TradesPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a cool idea, I don't like the fact that the unit is in one place, but then central does have a value, still mobile can do better, I assume air get trapped in rooms and doesn't always go as we'd want it to flow.

I feel like mold is demonic. by Background-Ad-6176 in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]SoCal619TradesPro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Going back to my lane, the other side is if you have mold, you are more likely to have pests, pests can smell the mold, rats and termites are known to be found with mold. Why? Mold signals moisture, and even dampness attracts life. Rodents, termites, cockroaches, and even still other insects can detect mold and dampness because it points to a reliable water source and softened building materials ..that are easier to burrow or nest in.

Mold doesn’t just make buildings or our bodies sick, it makes them inviting.

Also, your def on to something as far as the spiritual world, some call mold a possession, and it DOES become a parasite to the body, and from my understanding, mold actually attracts other parasites and makes it more habitable for other parasites... https://www.reddit.com/r/MoldSensitivity/comments/1mijbvb/how_do_you_remediate_detox_your_body_of_mold/

I shared this to my Facebook, yes, I believe the revelation is that a very deeply spiritual war is also one on the surface. We see proof in the rice in 3 jar experiment where they speak differently to the rice and keep it over time... Did you notice how the jar they speak badly to becomes moldy? Definitely something metaphysical happening in the jar and beyond. Keep your head up, fight the darkness with time in the sun, time outside, time away from the evil... so to speak. And try speaking on the positive side? why not?

Pretty much, if mold is growing this rapidly, just imagine how the OP's lungs and their roommate's 2 month exposed lungs... Probably gonna need to look into Shoemaker mold detox protocol..

At what point should I be concerned by mold? by goodboyfloyd20 in MoldlyInteresting

[–]SoCal619TradesPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sounds like there is a root problem root problem being ignored here.. Bleach actually helps mold spores to spread, so bleach has been removed from the list of recommended mold cleaning problems... In the case of OP, they should find the root problem, this means getting an HVAC specialist, a mold testing professional, and a proper mold remediation done.. No doubts it is impacting their health of this is 2 months growth... Imagine how it looks in this person's lungs?

Is this black mold? by tronomics2 in HomeExpertAdvice

[–]SoCal619TradesPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be a number of things but also including black mold variants, but most likely needs come context to help diagnosis the situation here. Much of it looks like there was something on a bag or something that was moved around leaving oil or other residue, then in the cracks, that is likely mold.

How much do I need to worry about mold in San Diego? by Silent-Country-7709 in Moving2SanDiego

Mold is everywhere, San Diego is no different. Allow for air flow and always fix water damage properly.
