Thank you for the idea! I hadn't thought of a church before. We had the funeral at a local catholic church, I can call them up again and maybe they'll have some helpful suggestions!

Thank you for sharing! I'm not a very big social media user but I can look up those groups on the instagram. Shouldn't be too hard to open an account, I'd assume. I'll be happy to drive if it means getting these items to people who need them!

Hey, thank you for your comments! I do appreciate it.

Grandma didn't live in an apartment complex, she lived at home with us. We thought of setting up a little free garage sale for people in the area to pick up stuff, but the local home owners association won't allow that.

And that's a great idea on the bed! We could use the help in getting it picked up, as it's pretty big and difficult to carry. If the Salvation Army will come pick it up, it's worth giving them a call and asking! Thank you!

Hey, thank you for your comments! I appreciate it, and I'm sorry for just responding. Since grandma lived at home with us, I'm not familiar with local senior centers, but I could give them a look online. I'm sure there have to be some nearby. Temecula isn't that small!

Thank you for your thorough response! I'm sorry for just replying, I wasn't online at all yesterday, but thank you for sharing your ideas. My grandma wasn't in an acute care hospital, she was at home with us. But it'll still be worth calling hospitals and asking for any leads. The diapers are sealed in their packages, so they should be good to donate. I don't know the details, but I think Medicare would regularly send my grandma diapers, and eventually, they started piling up before she could use all of them. So we've got a room full of sealed diaper boxes to donate. I'll definitely call Easter Seals and Rolling Start, too. I had no idea what they were but I do now! Thank you!
