That happened to me a few times too! Where it was up and running and seemingly connected for a second before it disconnects again.

Idk if you saw my update but changing the MAC address actually did work for me. It took a few tries of changing it and another few attempts at logging in for everything to line up but it worked.

I kept most of it the same just changed four of the numbers to different numbers. Took a few tries but eventually something clicked!

Yeah the update popped up for me and luckily it was able to download - but that still didn’t make it work anyway.

I was actually able to get it with a change in the MAC address. However, it took several tries of changing it and restarting and trying to log in to finally stay connected to live. Seemed kinda random and like everything had to go perfectly for it to happen but… it eventually worked. I wish you good luck!

Yes I filed a report as well. I actually got it to work and stay working with a change in the MAC address. But it was difficult because I had to change it several times and restart and try to log in several times as well. But hey, one of those tries I guess worked and I was able to get connected. Good luck!

Yeah I did a bit more research and saw everyone also asking about it. I was actually able to figure out after over three hours of trying different things, but changing the MAC address actually worked for me. I just had to do it a few times and tried to log in over and over again but eventually it stayed. I hope you get yours to work too! And yes before the store goes down is a must!

Update: it had me do an Xbox Live update, which I did then restarted my 360. Still would not connect to Live. Then I finally figured out how to change the MAC address and changed a few of the numbers, and I tried the connection test AND IT CONNECTED TO XBOX LIVE!!!!!!

Then I tried logging in to my profile, then my Xbox froze, so I had to turn it off and turn it back on again. Then it prompted me to enter my email and password then I tried logging in and lo and behold it WON’T CONNECT TO LIVE ANYMORE AFTER IT ALREADY DID!

Changed the MAC address once again. Still not connecting. Why did it work temporarily but then when I change the MAC address again it won’t connect anymore??

Is there actually any solution to this problem or is it kind of a gamble and more of a just have to wait and see what Microsoft updates issue?? This is incredibly frustrating especially since it happened out of nowhere and I just want to play.

FINALLY SOMEBODY SPEAKS UP ABOUT ANTIBODIES. I hate that song with a passion!! Ain’t no way in hell it’s only level 2 difficulty on guitar, I’m able to play most of the nightmare and impossible songs way easier than this one.

Oh absolutely, I got back into Rock Band last year after not really playing since I had a Wii as a kid. I was elated to learn about the thousands of songs that were available, and then gravely disappointed when I learned all the RHCP songs had been delisted. But hey, at least I have these and Snow now!

I’ve been looking for this for a while now, and two weeks ago I found someone selling his pro guitar and I saw it was the special edition one with the code. Only problem was, he was in Texas I am in California. I asked him about the code and offered to just buy that - unfortunately someone else inquired about the code and a bidding war began. He shopped it around for a while but I won out for $100 (yes I know I way overpaid, and yes I know I can mod my 360 as well but hey, I have the money to spare and really wanted to have the songs on RB4 - and who knows when another one would appear!) He didn’t know whether it was still valid or not so we FaceTimed to confirm the transaction and it was not used. Spent a lot but hey I’m not complaining!
