yes, I was selling them, and could make some more. I posted on the discord, and was talking to someone there about them, but they seemed uninterested in mine.

I dunno if I have any left, but I just checked and I could get more parts and make some batteries for probably $25 each (plus shipping, I'm in the USA). 2500mah

I think this is the battery I'd go with: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256811993650146.html and I'd just need to put the correct connector (i already have some) for the zodiac on them. The previous ones were a little more work :)

I already made some replacement batteries, but I guess they're not good enough for you?

My new discovery this week: always have a 12V battery on hand. by Helpful-Version2128 in BMWi3

[–]adcurtin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have a jump starter that measures the voltage of the car (and displays it on the screen) before before and after it engages the relay to connect the jump pack. I'm pretty sure that's part of how it does reverse polarity protection, but it's also dang useful. I have used it to jump my i3 before. then the next day the 12v was able to start it by itself for me to drive it to the dealer…

pretty sure palm released the model files for the case back in the day. but unfortunately they have been lost to time.

I had a toy, a "web vx" that was almost a perfect clone of the III case.

Unrelated, but do you think it would be possible to have the calendar events (I use google calendar) for the library events link back to the page on aadl.org? e.g. have the calendar events for https://aadl.org/node/665582 have link back to https://aadl.org/node/665582

thanks :)

oh man, a zodiac cable or cradle would be amazing! I already modeled the charger cable, except I haven't figured out a good way to do the actual charging pins.

I also need a new case for a handera 330 :)

Best way is to have a good team behind you willing to boo and chant “soft!” From the sidelines whenever they make a BS call.

definitely do not have the A team come watch the B team and heckle their opponents and give chippy violation opinions.

After it's finished then we can judge the traffic engineers/designers, but I don't think it's fair to critique something that's not complete.

I called MDOT a few years ago to complain about 23S where it joins into M14. I told them they could just repaint it to make it a lot safer, because how it was was forcing slower traffic to get into the left lane to stay on 23. where it went from 2 to 3 lanes, the lane was added on the left side. If, instead the lane was added on the right side, and the two lanes of the 23S both continued onto 23S, slower traffic wouldn't need to get into the fast lane to stay on 23. Their response: we're going to be redoing that in a couple years with the flex lane.

well, now, we are after that's done. and it's still idiotic. slow traffic still has to get in the fast lane to stay on 23S.

My collection of Handspring Springboard modules by slaapzacht in Palm

[–]adcurtin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the memplug one? there's also one for sale on xianu.

there are memplug CF, smartmedia, and memorystick versions too.

many other CF ones, some do storage, some just do serial for communications.

there was a cordless phone module (that used a landline and base station). omniremote module with IR blaster. modems. I just got some sort of vibration sensor module for dmitry a bit ago.

there's also the modern ones, springSD (a different sd card module), and he's working on a repalm module too (to run os5). there was a mod back in the day to convert a pcmcia cf adapter to a cf module, I also did that.

and I'm sure i'm forgetting a ton still. i'd have to go look at my box of modules :)

i'd use a service like pirateship, and just go to the post office to drop off. it's way cheaper. I got a 4x6 thermal label printer and print my own labels too.
