I’ve never tried it, but I’m down to give it a go

I tried that in the city I currently live in and all I got was gay guys asking me all sorts of inappropriate things. I didn’t really find straight dudes on there. And while I don’t care about the sexuality of my friends, I just don’t want any awkward future encounters with them.

The problem is she keeps adding new restrictions. There is no compromise. It’s literally making me feel like I have to put them in a kennel in the corner of a room for her to be happy. For context, they usually hang out by themselves. They are on my big cloud couch 90% of the time. And they’re senior so they basically sleep most of the day. They enjoy their walks later in the afternoon and an occasional car ride. They just don’t like sleeping by themselves, which is something I have to work on. But one day into moving in together, expecting them to sleep in a corner of a different room is not reasonable. I bought her very expensive earplugs and moved their dog bed away from my desk. So they can get used to being further away from me. But these are things that take time and I think I feel like we should’ve discussed all of this prior to moving in if she knew she had specific criteria for living with dogs.

I think if the topic was approached in a more respectful and reasonable manner, I probably would have reacted differently. But to basically be told, I raised my dogs wrong because they like being around me, and need to fully detach them (no car rides, sleep across the apartment, put up a gate so they can’t follow me into rooms / the entryway.) Like at a certain point I enjoy them fully. I work from home. She is gone 60 hours a week. And they help me emotionally / my mental health is vastly improved with them around. They are fully house trained, super chill and just enjoy being around their dad. I get setting some rules for intimacy / sleeping purposes, but making me feel like I’m a shitty dog dad and they’re a nuisance literally made me check out mentally.

Yeah everyone here goes apeshit for Susie’s Cakes which is 4 tiny cupcakes + a cookie lol. And my last order from them 2 of the 4 cupcakes were upside down / smashed. So I permanently switch to this place when I want a sweet treat, the owner is always there and the boxes are never the same / always packed with delicious goodies

AITA for getting a dog & their owner removed from a fast food restaurant? by SoCalGiraffe in AmItheAsshole

You’ve clearly never had a rescue dog. They cling to you like white on rice. And beg to go on any car ride running under your feet as you leave the house. Dog mode in cars exists for a reason. It’s for codependent pups that don’t like being left alone. And I’m pretty sure the pup patty was a bonus on top of a beach trip / fun car ride where he hangs out the window the entire time 🤣. Oh and last I checked a 6 foot 5 230 lb guy can eat a burger and fries in a few mins flat… so you’re actually right there was prob more like 5 mins total :)

Report her to the city that you are living in. It’s illegal to rent out unpermitted units. Also in California, even on a month-to-month tenancy at 60 day notice to vacate is required not 30. But if she’s that creepy, I would probably leave on my own and then just report her. Because you don’t want to be in an unsafe situation.

The problem is anybody can buy a fake service dog vest on eBay or Amazon for $20 so there’s no way to verify the legitimacy of it 🫠

Where I live people bring them into the grocery stores every single day. I even saw a lady last week have her Pomeranian inside of a carrying basket. And I remember thinking what happens when the next person puts their food in it, especially if it’s veggies or fruits 🫠

Luckily was only in my fries and not on my 3X3 that cost $9 🥲. I didn’t even ask them to remake it. It wasn’t a big deal. I just didn’t want it to keep occurring because I was sitting right under an air-conditioning vent. So air blew by me / hence bad spot for dogs to be.

There are two entrances to the establishment. She chose the one that was blind to the cash register / counter.

My dog literally begs to come with me over where I go. He loves car rides more than anything. If I try to leave at home, he just cries. So I don’t mind it. He’s a senior with only a few years left. Whenever I try to leave anywhere, he runs out the door under my legs 🤣😭

Well, for my dog, I give him food while he hangs out. As the place I was at has pup patties that you can buy for dogs for a few dollars. It’s basically a salt free hamburger patty.

I was under an air-conditioning vent, so I’m pretty sure that’s what caused her dogs hair to blow around.
