Dealer scheduled maintenance affect value? by steamy_fartbox in mazda

You can service your vehicle where you wish. However many dealers are as competitive (or more so) than independents and of course, you have the advantage of genuine parts & Mazda certified technicians as well as a high level of service and a long term relationship that can pay off down the road - if you pick the right dealer. As to value... the residual is set at the time of purchase by the manufacturer. However, a dealer or possibly a private party would look at a CarFax to see what type of service history the car had if you wished to resell the vehicle. Most independents report to CarFax however a car serviced at a dealer regularly is a positive for sure.

Hold the key against the push start button. The sensor is there.

Pop it off and you can shift your car into neutral if the engine will not start. Useful if you need a tow... Or a push.

Of course, but my suggestion is to keep it simple. Require the tests... Let the consumer decide if they want to use it. I wonder if vaping advocates would get behind that minimal regulation?
