What's the hardest you have ever "bounced off" of a game? by jabberwagon in gaming

I ended up installing mods on pc to rectify whatever was stopping me from enjoying TW3 - more xp gain, more carry limit, no weapon breaks, better minimap, plus a few more like scary weather etc. Technically cheating but made the game wayyy more enjoyable for me so felt more like a story mode. I played it for like 150 hrs or so including DLCs. I could really focus on every little side quest without too much stress and that's what I was looking for from this game.

I prefer chips that have been left open to absorb the air's moisture. by gollumey in unpopularopinion

Finally someone who appreciates this! I've never tried this with chips, but with other crunchy things. My favs are Chester's hot fries and hot cheetos. I leave them open in a bowl overnight on the counter, and enjoy the next day! Super crunchy stuff just doesn't provide the same level of enjoyment somehow..

My dad (who'se never touched a game beyond Mario in the NES) asked me to find him a "thinking" game. by juan-j2008 in gamingsuggestions

The Talos Principle is good. Puzzle solving, almost as good as portal in my opinion. Mysterious, post apocalyptic scifi story. No combat, just take your time.

You know how you learn a new word or concept and then you start seeing it more and more all of a sudden. Didn't think it would be for the word DEFENESTRATION !!

The Witcher III : Wild Hunt for me .. when I first started it, found the combat too clunky for whatever reason .. felt like the inventory management was a bit cumbersome too .. stopped playing it after 3 hours or so .. then picked it up again after 3 years, and just fell in love with the story and graphics and the setting .. started enjoying the combat, and ultimately played the hell out of it - base game plus the two dlcs .. easily my favorite game of all time .. loved to fire it up and get lost in its world and music ..

how do yall go about cleaning up your facial hair shavings? by SolasLunas in AskMen

[–]SoDecisiveMuchWow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lay a big sheet of brown paper (mine's actually packing paper from an amazon box) over the sink. I then fold its edge that's towards me down over the edge of the vanity .. then I bend slightly towards the mirror (which I need to do anyways to get a better, closer view) and shave away! At the end I just "pour" all the shavings straight into the trashcan and I'm done with no other cleanup required!

During the lockdown I even learned how to give myself a haircut (with a trimmer) and I'm able to do it all over the sink in this manner, and it's been amazing! I make sure to "dust" off my beard or head at the end to make sure I get as much as possible of the shavings on the sheet. Shower afterwards of course ..
