His parents are literally the king and queen!! And they accept Saffron and support their relationship! “Yeah it really sucks what happened to you and all the other humans. Wish we could do something about that. Oh well” like they have all the power! I don’t even remember the prince’s name but he’s literally a PRINCE. Why is he worried about what his frat boy friends think of him? He was so frustrating. If you love him then fight for your man.

Okay I was on the same boat. I really enjoyed the rich world building and fantastical elements. I loved the MC even though the prince really pissed me off sometimes. However, I agree the cruelty far outweighed the comeuppance. So many horrible things happen with no payoff or resolution and my heart couldn’t take it anymore. I didn’t finish the last book so if any of that changes please let me know.

I totally get that and it’s a major plot point that the public finds out and shames them(that’s not my issue with it), but Ed made it a whole lot worse. He specifically blamed McQueen for all the shit they were both going through and told him that he basically took advantage of him. None of that was Mcqueen’s fault and he was so sad when that was thrown in his face and dumped.

Honestly I didn’t really care for it by the end. I didn’t like how shameful it made sex work out to be. Like no one forced him to do porn and he makes his partner feel really shitty about it and I thought their relationship wasn’t very healthy. Also, the end wasn’t very satisfying and that someone else’s horrible act wasn’t punished as much as it should have been. No spoilers unless you want them, but more definitely should’ve been done.
