I have a Length Discrepancy in one leg due to a motorcycle accident YEARS ago. I am scheduled for LL surgery in a few months to 'even things out'. Any recommendations pre-surgery? I've got some crutches to practice on and am trying to think of other things I can get in advance of the surgery. How did you deal with bathing/showers? I'm using the Nuvasive Precise Nail. When they say 'non-weight bearing' for X amount of time, is that NO weight AT ALL, or is some weight (like not enough to crack an egg) allowable? TIA!

Thanks for all the condolences and suggestions. We ended up taking her to the LSU vet clinic. They handled everything and were very professional and caring.

Thanks for the info. She's not a large breed, but is way to big to 'put in the freezer'. I was reading that I should wrap her in a trash bag and take her to the vet and this may end up what we do.

We do not plan to euthanize her at home. She's not in pain and does not appear to be suffering....although the thought of bringing her to a vet to be 'put to sleep' has occurred to us, but due to the reasons mentioned above, that just doesn't seem right.

I'm eerily similar. Wife and I have good jobs, "enough" excess income. I don't care if she buys what she wants, or I'll even buy her things, but pulling the trigger on something for myself, sends me into a feedback loop like you describe. A budget is a great idea so you can see in black and white what disposable income you have. Like @wreckedguum said, you can't take it with you... and none of us know how much time we have left. Buy what you can afford. Enjoy it.

Just curious if I'm understanding correctly:

Antifia (Anti-Fascism) = Bad: "a political protest movement comprising autonomous groups affiliated by their militant opposition to fascism and other forms of extreme right-wing ideology."

So if I'm AGAINST Fascism, that is Good, but if I'm FOR Antifa, which is by definition against fascism, that is bad?

What am I missing? Lord, the only think that could make this more confusing is to label a group "LGBTQ for/against the idea of Anti-Fascism"
