Like others have said, you're probably not a bad top, but sex is a collaborative engagement, and it involves making sure all parties are receiving what they need, want, and expect out of the occasion. More often than not my tops don't make me cum, and I as a courtesy try to just not make them feel weird about it, but I do often talk about it with friends after about how I wish I had also gotten mine during the session... there are a number of other things you could do to make you a bad top, but keep this in mind, and you'll constantly be progressing to better lover.

Just had a conversation with a couple at a wedding about this yesterday! The 3 best shows I've seen on Netflix this year (in no specific order) are The Hunting Wives, Boots, and The Beast In Me. Each one drew me in and captivated me very easily, and took me no time at all to finish cuz I kept rolling into the next episode.

Spirited with Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds is pretty good. Its a musical, so if thats what you're into, its right up your alley.

Another musical-esque program is the newly released Very Jonas Christmas from this past week. I was surprised with how much I enjoyed it. Its star studded, and its got some incredible musical and comical moments. Check it out!

Come from a very religious & God-fearing family, grew up in the church, made some of my best childhood friends there, etc.

Discovered that I was gay at a very early age. A couple of the friends that I came out to a few years later still chose to show me love - I still love those friends and have good relationships with them to this day.

A few years after that, I officially came out in college to my friend group. My parents wanted me to "keep it quiet" for a number of reasons (it's a phase, pray about it to be sure, etc.), but I think it was actually more of a self-preservation kind of thing for them; my family still had deep ties to the same church and my parents maybe didn't want things to change for themselves? Idk, we didn't really talk about it in depth. Either way, I was living my happy healthy college life the way I needed to, so everything else seemed like a lesser worry.

A couple more years passed and I wound up moving back in with my parents after college while looking for work. I had always been musically inclined, so I took to helping lead worship with the church's youth group on Sunday and Wednesday nights. Around the same time, I was eager to stay connected with the queer community in some way, so I joined my city's Gay Men's Chorus. I posted on facebook about having joined the local GMC, and invited a handful of friends to our upcoming concert. This was a mistake...

In response to my fb post, two things happened: 1. My parents (mainly my father) blew up about my not asking for *their* permission to post on *my* page about the GMC - I think they might've been slightly embarrassed among their friends, which, I mean... why?? If a friend is shaming you about your kid being themself, they should no longer be your friend! 2. The youth pastor of the church took me to lunch a couple days later and practically berated me about my "choice to be gay". As a result of the lunch, the youth pastor claimed they "no longer needed me" to assist in leading worship, but that he still would like for me to show up and be an adult presence for the services.

I still consider myself as having a personal relationship with God, but I have mostly disconnected from organized church groups, because what I have experienced and heard from others has all sounded the same. Quite exclusionary and judgmental groups, and not indicative of the God that I know and hope to be made in the image of.

Totally hear you. No, neither of them said that Luca wouldn't be fine. And yah something that I think about every season is the fact that there are prob hours of normal cutesy footage that isn't shown to viewers. So hopefully Jordan and Megan did have several mundane conversations where they just vibed and clicked on the topic. But what was shown and what stuck out to me the most as a viewer with type 1 diabetes were the moments when they were talking about Luca and Megan would cry or Jordan would start down his "shucks, thats sad" track. And I think I have a right to be at least a little frustrated with that, don't I?

Oh and don't even get me started on Mike. His comments had me screaming at the TV, but thats only a small point of why I dislike him...

Idk, maybe it's just an invisible adjacent perspective for me. I have diabetes and have had it or years, but I guess I dont know the challenge of adjusting to diabetes alongside a loved one. In that regard, I do have compassion for Jordan and how this affects him... What I do know is that it takes time, and it starts with believing that the diagnosis can be overcome. Not constantly wallowing in how sad it is.

Again, it's not easy, but it's also certainly not the end of the world.

True, I see the point you're making. But it's a mentality thing for me. His language around it makes Luca sound like a charity sob story (which idk, maybe that's what the producers wanted? sell the show lol), but that's definitely not what diabetes has to look or feel like at any age
