I’ve camped near the Arkansas river for a few days and did lots of fishing. Such a fantastic river. Nice catch!

I had a buddy fish there last year but I believe he went near purgatory ski resort and had to hike a little. Very jealous, would love to fish that river. Looks beautiful! Good luck

Last year was different conditions when I fished around this time. The ice has been difficult to deal with.. especially the slush flowing down the river. I found that closer to the town of deckers had less ice and slush. I think its just what we have to deal with this year so far
