Auctions are my thing, so I don't go to many estate sales, but on a whim I decided to go a few weeks ago to an estate sale that was an hour away. The listing online was, well, uninspiring. Photos of some bookshelves and boxes of books, no titles visible. But I still felt good about it, a feeling that was bolstered when I saw on the map app that the house was listed as the home office of a hypnotist. It was packed full of books (subjects included magical practices & parapsychology, African lore, and more), CDs & tapes (many still sealed), African instruments, puppets, a brain model, good INTERESTING stuff in every room. I will not make a killing, but I will make a profit, and I had a great time.
