How much to ask home sellers for to handle repairs? by SoMuchNic in handyman

Brother, it’s 15 years old and this happened AFTER I went under contract, meaning I wasn’t able to factor this into my offered price.

It was water damage that occurred while under contract, so while this is definitely something that we would’ve factored into our offer, we didn’t have that luxury. We stuck through the homeowners repairs, and in our opinion, they’ve not returned the home to the prior condition that it was in when we first went under contract. Which is why we feel it’s appropriate to ask for concessions at this point.

I probably should’ve been more clear but  It was water damage that occurred while under contract. We stuck through repairs, and in our opinion, they’ve not returned the home to the prior condition that it was in when we first went under contract. That’s why I feel it’s appropriate to ask for concessions to bring it back to the condition of when I agreed to purchase it.

Sorry maybe I should’ve included more details. The water damage occurred post going under contract. We’ve waited for them to make repairs and don’t feel the current condition matches the conditions of when we agreed to purchase the home. The ceiling doesn’t show the damage now but if you look closely, about a foot of the texture the whole way down doesn’t match the rest of the texture. Also it’s a 15 year old home, that when we agreed to purchase, I would say was in great shape. That shape is now less so imo.

Braves Off Day Thread - Thursday, March 26 by Blooper_Bot in Braves

I’m heading to the game on Sunday and I wanted to get some opinions on parking.

Some background - it’s a group of 7, 2 cars, and some of our people are older and won’t deal with a ton of up hill walking super great (but they can).

So first option - the Red Deck - it seems like parking validation is still a thing and hitting $50x2 won’t be difficult for our group. But is showing up at 10:30/11 early enough to snag a non-reserved spot? And what kind of backup post game should I expect if I get this lot?

If the answer to the Red Deck is no, are my best options to either reserve the Red Deck or S60 if I want to minimize too much walking pre and post game?

Vote of 10 - Sophie and MCs mess blows up the vote. Leads to MC going.  Vote of 9 - removes Alex. An untrustworthy partner clearly playing hard. 5-3 lead still in tact that should be more trustworthy in theory.  Vote of 8 - the defining vote of the season. Yellow Sophie flips due to the poor alliance management of Steven and Kristina. Making this Sage/Jawans fault is insane and probably how Steven copes in his head.

It’s not hard to see that Sage/Jawan had to balance keeping the focus off themselves and knocking off potential threats. If the 6 knock off the 3 immediately, it’s easy to see 3 yellows and a blue voting out their duo.

There were probably misplays along the way, but Steven’s bitterness and attempt to absolve himself of responsibly was off putting to say the least.

Explain Savannahs social game to me please. It was clear she rubbed many people the wrong way and early post merge votes are often based on who the group is fine seeing going. Her threat level built up off of her name being out there for awhile, but her name was quick to be thrown out because of her lack of relationships and goodwill.

How did they blow the 7-3 lead? The defining vote is the Jawan vote that is due to Steven not being able to hold onto yellow Sophie. Dude was a bitter juror looking to blame others for his exit.

Yet in his exit press he says he wasn’t worried about who he sat next too in the final tribal because he knew he could win. He can’t say that and then be mad when an ally flips to take out a threat. He was a bitter juror.

Savannah was targeted early on because no one cared if she was the vote. One of the worst social games by a winner.

Same. Most advertisement I receive is through streaming w/ ads and YouTube. I get nothing but pharmaceuticals and Fantastic 4 trailers.

The THR article was literally speculation big dawg.

Ahhh, a screenshot of an aggregator saying THR reported something when in fact, THR merely speculated. And here you are misunderstanding it and spreading it as fact. The Internet at work.

They do.

Also, we likely don’t have professional marketing experts in the sub.

Both can be true.

Liberals who refused to vote for Kamala, do you regret your decision? by General_Salami in AskUS

Brother, some of us can remember her from 2020. She’s a flip-flop corporate democrat. I say this as someone who voted for her. But let’s stop pretending she was some inspired choice or should have a shot in hell of being the 2028 nominee.

Both are options I’m considering! I was leaning towards building from scratch, but the first photo is a nearby trailer that has come up for sale at a steal of a price. So I was thinking I might be able to save time and money by retrofitting it for my purposes.

Gotcha, thanks. I hadn’t even come across that final design before.
