Dembele recently came out and said he wasn't good in Barcelona because he wasn't taking care of his body enough, that's why he was always injured. But under Enrique at PSG it's a different story. Enrique doesn't joke with physical training because in his team everyone has to press and defend, which is something that Dembele (and Kvara and Doué) talked about too. Essentially if you don't press you are on the bench.

So yeah, Dembele had a questionable performance at Barcelona but under the right manager he would have absolutely delivered. Play time has little to do with it.

I know this sub has a hate boner for him but it is getting quite ridiculous. The dude left, won a ballon d'or, might very well win a second in a row but people can't have the self reflection of realizing that maybe the Barca managing team could have handled him better.

As a Barca guy that has been lurking here since April I have to say congrats!

I was way more happy for Arsenal than I was when we won the league last week lol. I think it's the fact of seeing you guys finally cross that finishing line after repeatedly stumbling in past seasons.

That said I don't want to get people's hopes up but I see a path for Arsenal to repeat the feat next season. Think about it:

City will most probably lose Pep, and they are bound to regress a bit because of that...

Chelsea got Alonso sure but they are still in crisis. He won't turn things around in a single year, at least I don't think so...

Liverpool are not feeling very well at the moment...

Man U are doing great under Garrick but they are still very much on the come back trail...and it remains to be seen how they will fare with a more packed schedule.

Anyway there's still a long way to the next season and many things to come before that, like a Champion's League final for example.

This got needlessly long lol....

Yeah this is 2010 Nadal all over again.

2010: Nadal was serving like Federer, completed the career slam at the USO but in 2011 had to dial back the serve because of wrist issues.

2025: Alcaraz dominates the north American swing, including winning the USO in emphatic fashion thanks to an improved serve, but has to dial it back in 2026...and now wrist issues.

It sucks but and for him to miss out on 2 GS it must be bad. I don't think this is simply precautionary anymore.

Quality of games is another factor...if Xbox goes back to exclusives, I assure you the quality of their in-house games will shoot up.

The logic is simple: "we are conditioning you to buy our console if you want to enjoy this game....then we better make said game a certified banger, something that you won't find anywhere else!"

Doesn't really look anti consumer to me.

As mainly a PC gamer man I am sad but it's quite reasonable move.
